Quality is good but much firmer than expected for the mattress type

This mattress rated very well with Consumer Reports so I purchased it over other options in the lower price ranges. It unpacked and "filled out" very quickly and easily. The materials seem well constructed. There was no noticeable smell or off gassing when we opened the air tight packaging. So far it's a very good mattress. My wife and I noticed the first night that it is "firm" to sleep on but not objectionably so. We expected more of a form fitting foam type "feel" like the older low cost foam type mattress it replaced. This seems more comparable to a firm traditional mattress to us. Time will tell but so far we like it.

Love my Ghost Bed!

I had the expensive air mattress from another company. It was terrible. Took a chance with ghost bed and I'm so glad we did. It's just right, firm, and I fall asleep almost immediately. I don't wake in pain from this mattress.

I love this bed

I went from having a very plush mattress to having this firm one. The first night was rough due to transitions from an extremely soft bed to a firmer one but after that it was easy sailing. Some of the best sleep I have had in a while. And of course my husband love it. He’s been sleeping like a baby every night.

Assembly is very easy to over think. However, this thing is awesome. I'm sorry I waited this long, it's a life changer for sleeping. Love it! Lifetime new customer here.

Slept on a ghostbed while staying at the Lizzie Borden house. Knew after I had to get one and get rid of my old “conventional” mattress. My continuous back pain and hip pain were gone within two nights.

I slept great the first 2 weeks (starting the first night!) because I really needed a firmer bed because my back/hip was hurting so bad on the mattress I had been sleeping on but now after a month, I think the Ghostbed Classic is too firm because my back/hip is starting to hurt again, so I'm not really sure at this point what is going on.

2nd Ghostbed mattress, just as good as the 1st one!

We bought our first Ghostbed 5 years ago, and loved it ever since. We recently upgraded from a queen to a king bed, so the queen Ghostbed was moved to the guest room, and there was no doubt we'd get a second Ghostbed. Our new king mattress is as good as the one we bought years ago. They keep making them well, we'll keep buying them and recommending them to anyone who wants a firm, but cool mattress.
