The Ghost bed takes some getting use to. I has to have a strong base. I am sleeping better. Be careful when opening the package. You will need two people to set up a queen size mattress.

Good for heavier people

I am a 5'11" man weighing 175 pounds, and have found that the Ghostbed is great for sleeping comfortably and relieving back pain. With a good (down) pillow, I also don't snore anymore. However, my girlfriend, who is 5'5" and weighs 110 pounds, finds the bed too hard for her. As a result, we bought a twin-sized memory foam topper for her to be comfortable. Now, there is a ledge separating the two of us.

Truly better than expected...

We bought a GhostBed for our spare bedroom but since I work nights, it's a good place to sleep and hide from the noise and kids during the day. We currently have a SleepNumber bed in our master bedroom. I was originally hesitant to buy a GhostBed for the simple fact that we tried one of another brand a few years ago. We were unhappy with how much we sagged. Also it was not cool at all to sleep in. So I have been personally testing the GhostBed for about 4 days a week for the last 2 weeks and have to say I'm very impressed. It's firm, but not to firm. No "sinking" into the bed. I'm 6'1" 220lbs and it feels great on every sleep position and really does seem to stay cool through out my sleep. I can honestly say had we not purchased a new bed already in our master bedroom I would definitely be buying this bed for that room as well. Although our children are getting older and will need new beds. So I will definitely be returning to GhostBed to buy at least 2 more beds. Also my mother in law has slept on it twice and she has already asked about the bed. So I think she will be buying one as well. I highly recommend this bed, especially if your on the fence at least try the 101 night trial. You owe it to yourself to give it a try.

I travel a lot for work, and this weekend was my first weekend to be gone since we got our new mattress. When I got into my hotel, the first thing that I thought about was missing my ghostbed... Not how much I miss my wife, or what songs I was going to play that night. Nope, it was how much more comfortable my night would be at home in my new bed. Needless to say, my wife and I are both very happy with our new mattress!

I did a ton of research before buying a bed and everything said the GhostBed was great -- firm, cool, comfortable -- except that it has no edge support. But I'm not sitting on my bed composing symphonies or anything like that; I sleep and then get up. If that sounds like you, then this is the bed for you.
