We've got a classic queen-size Ghost bed and adjustable frame. It's fantastic, but other things not so much.
The website is very hard to use. I know it's difficult to develop a website that works for phones, tablets and laptops equally well but the site really annoyed me almost to the point of not purchasing the product. You need to improve the website.
The shipment tracking is very confusing in the email. The delivery came in four shipments and there were four tracking numbers but had no idea which tracking number belonged to what. The mattress arrived first and the frame arrived last 5 days later. Annoying!
Now I hear they are offering delivery and set up! Where were you a month ago? We are a couple in our early 60s and it nearly finished us off to get the bed upstairs and set up. The video makes it look so simple but that is a Twin XL not a queen.
The website stresses the quality of the product. Well wasn't impressed on opening the adjustable frame box. The fabric was covered with lots of pieces of wood chip. Two screws had been sheared off and the ends left buried in the board. One of the screw pieces was rolling around loose in the box. One of the clips
I'm hoping I'll love this bed like everyone else but I haven't actually slept on it yet because, 4 weeks after we set it up, it still smells bad. For about 2 weeks, it made the whole 1st floor smell like paint. Now, the smell is restricted to the bedroom. My husband, who can't tell if milk has gone bad, doesn't notice the smell anymore and says the bed is firmer than our Tempurpedic. He's not sure yet if he loves it but he's only been sleeping on it for a few days. Thankfully, we have another bedroom we've been sleeping in but if you don't, I'd recommend a different bed.
I just bought one for each of my kids. I was overjoyed to get mine last year and it’s still feels like new. I could not believe I lived with out this mattress no looking back. Now my kids are sleeping more soundly and seem more rested and less groggy in the mornings. I would really recommend it to anyone.
After sleeping on the same mattress for 20 years (also working with my doctor trying to figure out why my sleep hasn't been restful) I decided it was time to try something new. After much research online and talking with friends, I decided to give Ghostbed a try. Ever since I've been sleeping more deeply than I have in years. What's more my recovery time after physical exertion is becoming less and less as my body has more and more restful sleep on my Ghostbed. Probably my favorite thing though is as a combination sleeper I can go from my back to my stomach and from side-to-side, every position is comfy and provides excellent support, so much so that I no longer need to spend 10-15 minutes cracking my back and shoulders into place whenever I wake up. I just... wake up feeling good. If that's what you want for yourself, then you really should give the Ghostbed a try. What have you got to lose?
