Easy to put together - and works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this snowblower and had it assembled in 15 minutes. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I had a chance to try it our and it works better than my previous 2-stage gas blower. ... and no pulling my back trying to start it like with the gas blower.

Terrible durability that the company won't admit

Like the snow blower, but the scraper blade is a horrible design choice. The company keeps saying that the blade is durable, but it breaks quickly and probably needs to be replaced every year if you use the snow blower very much. Not a warranty item, and should be redesigned!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Depending on usage and snow conditions, you should typically replace your snowblower blade (also called the scraper blade or auger blade) every few seasons; for most homeowners, this means replacing it once a year, especially if you encounter a lot of heavy or wet snow that can cause faster wear and tear. Our blades are made of is polyethylene which is a durable material that's resistant to wear and tear and can last a long time under normal use.

Wonderful blower!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second one. I had an earlier version I bought two years ago and I thought it was wonderful. Two years later both batteries it came with were dead and I liked it so much that I bought the same one again. This one comes with a 4 year warranty so I decided it was worth it. It works great. I just need to buy another battery so I am always ready.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the blower about 8 months ago and enjoyed using it, them the battery wound not charge so I called and a replacement unit was sent to me. I tried it yesterday and everything worked perfectly.

Great product, but feels cheap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product, but cheaply made. Everything is hard plastic and feels fragile. The blower blades aren't actually metal, but a hard type of rubber. I am worried when its icy or the snow is wet and heavy, how it will perform. For the price pay, I feel like it isn't the best deal and is overpriced.
Pros: Convenient, Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

The impeller is composed of steel and rubber, which is light and quite durable. When using any snow thrower on wet snow, there is a chance of clogging. Often, the reason for this is that the speed of the impeller causes wet snow/slush to freeze. For best use in heavy snow types, you will want to move less at once. Once a full pass has been completed, only move about a third of the width of the unit with each pass going forward. This will help with the load acting against the unit and should hopefully assist in a more enjoyable user experience. Greenworks 80V snowblower is backed by a 4 year tool and battery warranty, which is more than double industry standard. This means you’ve got a little protection on your investment. It also makes a statement on how much Greenworks stands behind their products.
