Underpowered

I bought this hoping to replace my gas blowers. It was great that I didn't have to get gas/ replace spark plugs, change oil, etc. But the blower only threw the snow about 3 feet to the side. So I had to rethrow the snow further to clear off the driveway
Also there is an odd design decision- to the sides of the auger, there is a flat vertical peice about 1" wide. This means as I was pushing into heavy snow, that area was just getting pushed forward instead of going into the auger. If they had angled the plastic there inward, it would have been easier to use.
I would up using the 12" wide snow thrower more- it was able to launch even the heavy snow two stories high and 40 feet away with no problems.
It would be good to see maybe a two stage using two of the 80v batteries, and a better intake.

This blower is awesome! The battery life is even better than they say. And the turbo setting works very well, even on wet leaves. I recommend this product to everyone. No more fuel and oil mixing. No more pulling the starter rope and throwing my 70 year old shoulder out.

It is not self propelled, that’s why 4 stars. But really that is my fault for not researching more thoroughly. So you will get a workout in deeper snow. But when the snow is light it is a dream to operate.

The only reason that I did not give 5 stars is because my blower came with several scratches on it. They do not affect the usage of the blower but it appears that the machine had been used. I am a 72 year old woman and I am able to do my driveway which is about 45 feet long by about 15 feet wide on usually one battery charge depending on how deep and heavy the snow is. Other than the scratches I am very happy with my blower.
