[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer is pretty ergonomic and very quiet. It is at least as powerful as gas trimmers I have used.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective, Powerful

Useful and adequate, but poor string feed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this string trimmer for a couple years. It makes certain jobs much faster. The adjustability to different tasks is useful. My complaint is that the string advancement. It's supposed to ratchet feed the string when the head starts and stops. That feature doesn't work adequately for me, and I have to disassemble the head to manually advance the string, which is time consuming.
Pros: Convenient, Effective

Hello Dave33. Thank you for sharing your feedback on your string trimmer. We are glad it has been helpful for your yard work and that you have found the adjustability useful. Regarding the string feed this model uses a bump-feed system, meaning the line advances when the trimmer head is gently tapped on the ground while running. If it is not advancing properly, it may help to check that the spool is wound evenly and not overfilled, and that the line is the recommended size. Dirt or grass buildup inside the head can also prevent the bump mechanism from working smoothly. If you have tried these steps and the problem continues, we would be happy to help troubleshoot further or provide replacement parts if needed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are light years ahead of my old Greenworks plug-in string trimmer and leaf blower. The convenience of not being tethered to a cord (and subsequently string-trimming through that cord at least 2x/season) makes the purchase worth every penny. I also appreciate how the string trimmer is easy to refill, just make sure you read the directions first because it was NOT intuitive for me. The leaf blower has adequate power for my needs, but if you have a lot of leaves, especially heavy wet leaves, you might want to get a stronger model with a higher CFM rating. All in all, these were simple, clean, efficient tools that I expect to be in service for a number of years. I'm already eying up a lawnmower...
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective
