Not up to standards

I bought the 40 volt 16 inch trimmer which I do not see for sale now. It was a piece of garbage due to a poor design and very uncomfortable to use. They took my money but would not return my concerns.

Proper ergonomics when holding a string trimmer can improve comfort and cut quality. Here are some tips for holding a string trimmer:
Posture: Keep the arm holding the front handle straight, while slightly bending the hand on the rear handle. This will keep the trimmer head parallel to the ground, which gives the string the most cutting contact area.
Level: Hold the trimmer level.
Angle: When trimming against a hard surface, be flush with it. Holding the trimmer too high or at too shallow an angle can result in uneven or ineffective cuts.
Adjusting the handle can also provide a better balance, this will help evenly distribute the weight between the battery and the base and should hopefully assist in a more enjoyable user experience.

no pull start required

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No pull start required! The convenience of putting in a battery and pulling the trigger is so worth changing over to electric. Even in low-speed trimmer has more than enough power to tackle any weeds, especially with a blade head

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super great trimmer! I love how easy it was to set up and no need for gas and oil. It is also very quiet and does a great job. It feels cheaply made, everything is a heavy plastic except the metal alloy shaft. It comes with a strap to help with the weight, which is nice because the battery is solid 10-15 lbs and acts as a counterweight.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

The auto-feed feature works by releasing 1/4" of line each time the unit starts/stops. To see if this feature is working for you simply release the start trigger ten times and see if the line length changes. When you are using the trimmer, we do advise to release the start trigger periodically to advance additional line. This will be needed more frequently if you are using this around the fence or hard surfaces. Please ensure that the guard is always on the unit while in operation. This will prevent the line from extending too far out and breaking off at a large length, which will cause it to go back inside the spool housing and cause a jam. We hope this information helped!

Lightweight and powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far we have been cutting wet weeds with this string trimmer. It is doing a much better job than I expected and my gas weed eater will be kept only as a backup. This has so much power and the run time with even the smaller battery is pretty decent. I'll be investing in some larger ah batteries soon to extend run time. Great product.
