Disappointed in this one

The spool on this this thing is a nightmare. It's really difficult to get it off and back on which is really a problem because the bump feed feature doesn't work most of the time, so you'll need to stop every five minutes and take apart the head to re feed the line. This is worse than my cheap 15 year old Black & Dekker that is at the end of it's life. Really disappointed in this one. I have two other Greenworks tools that are great so I assumed this one would be also but I was wrong.

Hello Billy1894. Thank you for sharing your experience. Getting familiar with the spool design and bump feed operation can make a big difference in day-to-day use of the MODEL# (2136602) string trimmer. We would like to share some maintenance tips to help you with the issue you are experiencing. 1. Getting the Spool On and Off More Easily Align before pressing: Make sure the spool tabs line up with the housing slots before pushing or twisting into place. Clean the head: Grass buildup can make removal and installation harder wipe we recommend user wipe out debris regularly. Check for proper seating: If the spool is not fully locked in, the bump feed will not engage consistently. 2. Improving Bump Feed Performance Use firm, quick taps: Light taps may not advance the line, tap the head firmly on a hard surface while at full speed. Avoid overfilling the spool: Too much line can cause binding and prevent smooth feeding. Check line condition: Worn, brittle, or tangled line can interrupt feed replace if needed. Keep line length even: Uneven winding can cause the spool to jam. When the spool is wound evenly and installed correctly, and the head is kept clear of debris, the bump feed system should advance line more consistently. If the head continues to require frequent disassembly after these adjustments, it may be worth taking a closer look at the spool and cap fitment to ensure everything is functioning as intended. We hope this helped. If you would like, our support team would be happy to help review your setup and offer additional tips to help you get the most out of your string trimmer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 80v string trimmer does a great job and the battery sustains well. After buying and using this product, I purchased the hedge trimmer/pole saw combo and I am equally satisfied.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had gas and corded trimmers. This cordless one beats them all. The battery lasts about 45 minutes +/- depending on how tough the cutting is. I am ready for a break by then. The leaf blower works great for blowing all the big leaf maple samaras off the shingles and I don’t have the trip hazard I had with my corded one. I just got the 16” chainsaw. That will be much more convenient taking up the wooded backyard hillside. I don’t have to borrow my son’s gas saw or string extension cords for my corded chainsaw.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a gift and to my surprise it works great and lasts a long time. I was able to do both my yards on one charge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bout this product over the summer and love it. Once I learned how to replace the line, it made the process easy. I also have a blower, hedge trimmer, and multiple size batteries.
