Everyone comments on improved taste. The numbers that show up on the faucet seem to mean something but your materials are a bit unclear about what. I asked this question of a person who answered a phone request but he said municipal water usually is a 7-9 range but range of what? Would you, please, better explain what this should mean to us?

Replaced an old 4 filter tank

Replaced an old 4 filter tank system with this system, huge upgrade for us. Way better water pressure and flow rate with the bonus of being way more efficient, less waste and takes up less room under the sink. Easy to install with great instructions.Even though it is a refurbished unit it looks brand new and the price was excellent. Love that it tracks the condition of the filters for replacement. We also got the small pressure tank since we use it for our refrigerator water and ice. I highly recommend this product. Thanks waterdrop.

I just thought purge would be

I just thought purge would be done while running water only. Someties it purges by itself at random times (very short lapses).
