I received this USB-c to Lightning cable as a thank you accompanying an order. It also was timely because my older Apple USB-A to Lightning cable has begun disintegrating at the Lightning end.
My first impression was the substantial cable girth. It’s as big around as the nylon braid jacketed cables. Consequently this added girth makes for a pretty stiff cable. This stiffness leads me to be suspect of the bend life before it starts cracking and splitting like my old Apple cable.
I am going to put this into regular service at our family charging station to get a feel for its durability. Wives and children seem to be the ultimate users to discover weaknesses. ;)

When I’m traveling, outlets are always near by but with this cord, I can always use my phone even if the outlet isn’t immediately next to the bed
