I bought this Vitamix almost 2 months ago and it's my favorite kitchen appliance. I've perfected hummus, make smoothies every day, and have tried everything else but soup. I love the tall canister. It is a bit loud but I expected that. I wish the lid snapped on (once I didn't have it on all the way). But really, I'm not complaining. I love this thing.

After an epic fail of refurbished one, I bought classic 5200. love it. It works like they are known to work. I love the way it makes my smoothies very smooth and creamy, no lumps. Ice is crushed very well. I love it.

I've had my Vitamix for over a month now and I'm happy I got it. I've only made smoothies so far and I like how it blends so fast. I usually drink my smoothie a couple hours after I make it and it's still blended, it does not separate. I look forward to using it for dressings and other things as well.

After destroying (not on purpose) another brand blender, I was going to replace it with another. Sadly, the company no longer made the particular model.
Vitamix had been an option when I first purchased the other super duper blender just 4 years ago, so, I chose the Vitamix 5200. In addition, I purchased the smaller pitcher (32oz) so it could fit under my counter. It does beuatifully and it also stops me from making too much Smoothies!
Getting out of the gate, I can tell you it makes the best smoothies! Better than the other and not as noisy as the other! I have also made some real good Salsas too.
I have to wonder what was I thinking when I purchased the previous brand. I should have gone with the Vitamix the first time!
Clean up is incredibly quick and easy! My husband has no problem requesting an extra smoothie later in the day/night!
