I’ve wanted a Vitamix for years but just could not justify the price. So after buying my 4th cheaper blender I decided to bite the bullet and get myself a Vita-mix. I love it and wish I would have saved myself the stress the price generated. Yes it’s expensive but you do get what you pay for. I love it, cleans up easily, and works so great.
Pros: Speed of Service, Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Power
After having a few blenders these past few years, which inevitably broke, leaked or stopped working, I thought enough! With the combined amount of money spent I should have just started with the best, Vitamix 5200! I’m so happy and I know it will last a lifetime. It’s beautiful to look at, blends nicely and it’s so easy to clean.

This is my 2nd 5200. My last one started to have issues with the motor after 10+ years of owning it, so it was time for a replacement. I pretty much use it daily, sometimes multiple times a day to make shakes, sauces, and sometimes soups. It’s a staple appliance in my home. It has been very reliable. My only complaint is that I only needed a new base, not a new container to go with it as I already own all the container sizes. My go-to container is the stainless steel 48oz, which meets the majority of my needs and eliminates the food coming into contact with plastic. I wish there were stainless steel containers in other sizes.
