I love how the Dyson Corrale is wireless so I can bring it anywhere I go, but the downside to being wireless is that it is slightly heavier than my other flat irons. There are three temperature settings and it heats up pretty fast. It works well with my thick hair. It doesn't tug my hair and it makes my hair looks silky and straight. Dyson claims that the Corrale causes less damage to the hair with the integrated sensor system that regulates the temperature of the plate, but I will have to keep using to see if that's true. So far I love this product.

The product is quick to reach the desired temperature.
I like that it is cordless and also can be used with the cord itself. I have not needed to use it with cord as the 30 mins battery power is more than enough to style my hair.
I also love that it has the airplane mode and very travel friendly. This is going to be always in my carry on when I travel going forward.
While using it does not burn my hair unlike other flat iron I used where I can smell my hair is burning.
I recommend this product it is easy to use, very travel friendly and it significantly lessen the time I need to style my hair.

I have long wavy hair that “grows” in humidity- it was great in the 80’s ;). I am obsessed with my Dyson Airwrap and Supersonic Dryer as both products leave my hair feeling conditioned and not fried or dried out. I kept hoping that Dyson would come out with a flat iron and here it is! I was excited to try it out and see how all of the features worked. I didn’t know how I’d feel about the weight of the iron or the flexible plates. I have used a ceramic flat iron for years and usually have to run 3 passes to achieve a smooth finish- the reason being that the root or end will be flatter than the middle so the hair won’t lie evenly flat. I found that the weight of the Corrale actually helped and I could straighten my hair with 1 maybe 2 passes- which cut my “flattening time” down in half! I also noticed that the flexibility of the plates moved through my hair evenly “hugging” each segment allowing for an even flatter/shinier finish. I loved how the shape of the rounded iron also allowed me to bend/curl the ends of my hair. Love that it can be used cordless or corded. Charging time was fine as I plugged it in before jumping in the shower and drying my hair. Great that you can unplug the battery when traveling and the carry pouch is perfect and convenient. The only problem I have is that now I have to decide whether to use my Airwrap or my Corrale! Either way both products, along with my Supersonic Dryer make drying/styling my hair MUCH easier and faster. I used to dread drying my hair, particularly in the summer where I end up sweating due to our California heat! I don’t know how they do it but each Dyson product I own has been worth every penny and has made every day life much easier!!!

The Corrale IS different from other straighteners in the market. I have a lot of hair and the texture is thick and a tad frizzy. I was able to straighten in a single pass AND create a wavy look in a shorter timeframe with no damage to my hair. I prefer this to the other tools I currently own, none of which come close to having all of the thoughtful features Dyson included in its design.
PROS:
-The straightener works beautifully. The design of the barrel also make it easy to make beachy waves. ---The heat was gentle and consistent much like the dryer technology.
-The plates are flexible and will adapt to hold onto thicker hair. The hairs do not slide out of the plates.
-Cordless option. Game changer.
-I took the Corrale on a trip this week-the heat resistant travel pouch is well-designed and the product in the locked position is easy to pack in a travel bag.
-There is a tiny tag that you can take out to disconnect the battery. The travel pouch has a pocket designed to hold the tag.
-Charging dock is compact and sleek.
CONS:
-Three heat settings will be plenty for most. An adjustable setting would be helpful for in-between setting temperatures.
-Battery charge will last 1-2 stylings if using off the charging dock.

Got this a week ago and first of all I love the class Dyson look of it. The wireless function made hair styling much easier without managing the wire, and the reminder sound of iron being heat up is helpful too. Lastly it styles the hair nicely and stays a full day! Highly recommended!

I have long been a fan of Dyson products, already owning the Supersonic and the Airwrap. Needless to say, I was excited about their newest innovation: the Corrale. I have been able to use it for about a week now and I must say, I love it. It works as a great complement to both the Supersonic and the Airwrap but can also stand on its own. I have used it both after blow-drying and after air drying, and it always delivers beautiful results.
There is no way around it, heat allows us to create a myriad of beautiful hairstyles. But we pay a toll for this in the form of damage. Dyson hair tools have always tried to address this. And though using the Corrale is not damage free the temperature regulating technology and flexing manganese copper alloy plates decrease the amount of time your hair is being exposed to heat and hence, minimize the amount of hair damage inflicted.
One of the things I was most excited about was the fact that the Corrale is universal voltage. Although this is fast becoming a standard in beauty tools, this is the first Dyson hair tool that has this capability. Along with its portability, this makes it the perfect travel companion. Speaking of travel, the lithium battery can be unplugged so you can place it in your carry on. The heat resistant travel case has a small pouch inside for the battery connector and also has a Flight Ready label for when you’re going through security checkpoints.
Another stand out is its versatility. You can use it corded or cordless, which is how I prefer to use it. It gives me more maneuverability and freedom. I have used it continually for 30 minutes and the battery was still 75% charged. And it only takes about 40 minutes to fully charge.
The Corrale only has three heat settings: 330º F, 365º F, and 410º F. Should you need to use a lower or in-between temperature, then the Corrale might not be the right tool for you. I have found that the 330° setting gets the job done for me, leaving my hair perfectly styled and looking healthy. Besides straightening, the Corrale can also create curls and waves. I find it just takes a little patience and some practice.
In conclusion, the Corrale is a wonderful addition to the Dyson product line. It has fast become my go-to hair tool and I look forward to learning new ways to use it to style my hair. As with most Dyson products, price tends to be the main factor in whether or not to purchase. My take on this is if you have or can find the means and are willing to try something new and revolutionary, then go for it. The investment is well worth it.

I got this a week ago and was really excited. Let's start with all the pro: I love the look for this flat iron. You can tell it is made with really high quality. I love the option of being able to use it cordless, and that the battery charge in 40 minutes. Also, Dyson made sure that it is safe for on board with its battery. The flat iron gets to the temperature desired in 30 second, and stays hot the whole time evenly. It straighten my hair and makes it look very shiny. I received quite a few compliments from co-workers. It is a great tool if you are are in need for a flat iron. The Cons: the main one - it is heavy. Especially if you are a professional hair style list, your arm will hurt eventually. Also, you cannot use the flat iron if you have product in your hair, for example Keratin treatment. The machine heated pad has little holes that I would assume if product gets in it, will break the machine. So the good news, I get my Keratin treatment in the salon so this will not be an issue for me. Overall it is definitely a beautiful product and I will definitely recommend. I have the Supersonic hairdryer, the Airwrap styler and I love them all!

I have long, thick, coarse and curly hair, which usually makes it difficult and time consuming to straighten. I had truly given up trying. But this new Dyson Corrale is a game changer. It charges fairly quickly, was easy to use and worked great even on my coarse unruly hair. It's a little bit on the heavy side, but since you have the ability to go cordless that evens things out, removing that pulling/weight you normally get from a cord. With two passes my hair is stick straight with barely any steaming or smoking in comparison to my normal curling iron, which usually leaves my hair smelling burnt. I found it only let off a faint odor if I did a pass on my hair VERY slowly. The lower adjustable heat settings made me feel confident that no matter how slow I went I wasn't going to burn off any of my hair. (which has happened to me with other straighteners in the past!) With coarse hair I found that it still worked best with 1 inch or so sections of hair at a time. I found with my unruly hair it couldn't handle much more than that without having to do multiple passes over the hair. it was better to do smaller sections of hair. Being wireless is a game changer, but I wish it held a slightly longer charge. My hair takes 30-45mins to fully straighten, and when it was on the longer side I found that I had to plug it back in to finish which it the only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. I also found that it makes a faint humming sound while its charging, and beeps when the battery is low or when you are turning it on or reconnecting it. I couldn't figure out a way to turn off the sounds, although there may be one. My one real criticism of it is that if you want to use it wirelessly on a whim, you would need to keep it plugged in and charging all the time as it does take 30-40 mins to reach a full charge. Overall the product works really well, and my hair was super shiny after I used it. it didn't feel dry or damaged at all. I am excited to finally be able to wear my hair straight again, and to travel with it! Please make more cordless products like this!!!!
