Imagine no more! With three heat settings, plates that flex, and the option to use cordless or corded, this dyson straightener does it all. It’s a bit heavier than I’m used to, but that has not been an issue.

The fact that this one is cordless but powerful is amazing. It heats up fast and chimes when it's ready. And the low setting works on my fragile hair without burning it. Don't hesitate - buy it, it's the only one you'll need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was ecstatic to be chosen to test a new Dyson product and over joyed when I found out it was as a hair product. I love the Corrale! I’ve used it to both straighten and curl my hair. I love how smooth your hair glides through it without any of the pulling that’s felt on other straighteners. I get beautiful curls even on the lowest setting...there are 3. It comes with a beautiful travel pouch and stand. I love that it’s got a detachable cord and can be used on the go. I have yet to own a Dyson product that I don’t absolutely love..this one included!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was finally able to use the new product in completion, by going from blow-dry to straight and also blow-dry to curled using the flat iron. I love how the product looks, has the dock, can be used cordless, and charges quickly.
However, I'm not fond of the fact that it only goes up to 410 degrees (although that is beneficial for my hair). When curling my hair (previously blow dryer straight), my hair flopped. Had to use hairspray then flatiron again. Also, had some of my hair get stuck in the edges of the moving plates. My hair usually has some fall out while styling so I am not completely attributing this to the flat iron. I am going to return the other flat iron I have so that I will solely use this one, which will probably be more beneficial for my hair now that I have all Dyson hair tools that are heat conscious products.
I would recommend this to other customers because I have fairly difficult hair. (3b, 3c curls) that doesn't always hold a style unless I burn it into submission. The Dyson doesn't allow you to do that (thankfully). Im sure with long term use my hair structure will continue to have integrity due to the quality of Dyson products.

Love that it does not pull the hair and that it heats up really quickly. I normally don’t use straighteners because normal ones require more passes in order to make my curly hair straight. This is a game changer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me begin with a little about myself. I am a bi-racial woman in her late 40’s. Anyone who has any mixture of Afrocentric hair can attest to the struggles of hair maintenance. My hair although curly, is not a kinky curl. Blow drying used to take hours before Dyson came along, and I thought that was a godsend! But now Dyson has outdone themselves! Flat ironing my hair was a process I hated. The straight results would only last a few hours, not to mention the damage done to my hair.
Dyson’s newest tool not only allows me to straighten in a single pass, it has reduced the process time from 90 min (using multiple passes on a section of hair) to a mere 30 minutes. Well beyond impressed, I held my breath and waited to see how long it would last. Low and behold it lasted beyond my 12 hour day, and only needed a 10 minute retouch after sleeping on it.
I can not thank Dyson enough for their ingenuity and technology development. I can see this minimizing my prep time and doing so without damaging my hair. I’ve been singing their praises to anyone who’ll listen. If you think the supersonic dryer and air wrap were a game changer, wait until this flat iron kisses your hair!!

I have been using it on a lower heat setting than my previous hair straightener and I still get great results with just one pass through my hair. I like that you have the option to use it either corded or cordless and the included stand is a nice addition. At first, I noticed that it was a little heavier than my previous hair straightener. However, after using it for a few days, I am not noticing that as much as I used to. Overall a great product! I am so glad that Dyson finally made a hair straightener!

The Corrale is so easy to use and learn, I was able to produce a nice curl without much practice (The Airwrap took me a lot longer to get used to)! On my first use of the Corrale, I was amazed by the performance and the results of my hair. Usually, when I use a standard hair straighter or curler I would have to wait a couple minutes for it to heat up. But for the Corrale, it quickly heated up to 365 degrees in a matter of seconds. And when I had to lower the temperature to 330 because I was worried the heat may be too strong, it took less than 5 seconds for the Corrale to adjust. This is a big plus for the rushed morning hair routine!
The biggest pro for me is the product does not seem to damage my hair as much as others. After each use, I can clearly notice a difference in the texture of my hair as it feels softer and not burnt. For me, I can use the lowest setting at 330 degrees to curl my hair and the result of each curl would seem like I have used a higher temperature to in order to achieve the hold. But in reality I was able to produce a great finish with a lower temperature which would help in keeping the longevity and health of my hair.
As for the battery, I was quite concerned about it running out of power while I am in the middle of doing my hair. But I was able to get three full session and it would still have roughly half the battery life on the display (I take a long time to curl every section of my hair roughly 10 - 15 minutes).
Similar to every Dyson product, you can tell it has been carefully designed with great detail with the user’s experience in mind. The Corrale is yet another innovative, quality product from Dyson!
In the box you’ll receive...
1) Travel pouch
It is a nice simple designed heat-resistant travel pouch made of a very soft suede material with gold trimmings and ribbon. I would say this accessory is very similar to dust bag where there is minimal padding and best fit to be used to protect the product from scuffs when traveling.
2) Charging dock & cable
The charging stand comes in two components, the magnetic charging dock and a plastic stand. The dock has a good weight to it along with anti slip grips set at the bottom to prevent the dock from slipping / moving when placed on smooth surfaces.
The cable can be used to magnetically connect onto the Corrale or to the dock for charging. This provides great utility as I can use the Corrale wirelessly or wired in if I ever forget to charge the Corrale or need to use it for an extended period. The magnet is not as strong as what you’d find on the Dyson hair dryer, but strong enough to not fall off from a nudge. I see this as a good safety feature when using the Corrale wired in. If someone were to trip on the cable, the magnet would simply pop off without being dragged when held and potentially cause any harm or burn.
3) And the star of the show, the Dyson Corrale...
Features:
In the front of the Corrale you will see a small OLED screen that is used to display the battery life and temperature settings (330, 365, and 410), a power button, temperature setting buttons, a lock switch that can be used lock the straightener in a clamped position for transporting in the travel pouch. When powering on the Corrale the button will steady glow red in intervals showing that it is in the process of heating up and the moment it has reached the desired temperature you’ll be greeted with a chime and the button will remain a solid red indicating it is ready for use. And each time you adjust the temperature it will chime again once the Corrale has reached the desired temperature.
On the back of the Corrale you’ll see another amazing and unique feature of the straighter, the ability to set it into airplane mode upon removing the pin to deactivate the battery. This is a big plus, for me as I would love to take it onto the plane with me when I go on business trips or even a weekend trip!
The most unique feature of the Corrale are the flexible heated alloy plates that is designed to be flexible and shape around your hair. It should help gather your hair and provide a strong finish with less heat.
