I was so excited to be given this hair straightener to test. As an Asian woman with fine straight hair the curling was fantastic. It held for the day and my hair looked very shiny the cordless function is genius. I like how the outside stays fairly cool and that it heats up very quickly. Dyson has done it again!

Battery does not last

I had a regular straightener and when I saw this one I was like.. I must have..! Is a Dyson. I tried it for the first time and the battery died before I finished. I had it connected to the wire and even then, the straightener did not charge. I had it charging in the station and then used the wire again and nothing. I was not even able to finish straining my hair. So disappointed that I will return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Dyson Corrale is amazing! It heats up in no time and straightens my hair fast and leaves it smooth and shiny. The cordless feature is a game changer! You can actually flatten your hair anywhere-no more looking for outlets. The included pouch also serves as a mat and the dock keeps your corrale ready to when you are.

Great design but needs a better battery life

I bought the Dyson corrale a few days ago. I love the design and concept behind it. I am someone who straightens their hair almost everyday and loved the idea of less heat damage. The cordless feature is amazing but 30 min is not enough time to finish my hair. It’s thin, but long. For the price the battery should be able to last at least 45 min to an hour. When you straighten with the magnetic power cord, any bump to it makes it fall off. It’s a beautiful straightener I just wish I could fully finish my hair without having to stop to recharge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Truly exceptional product. I am a biracial woman (African American & Northern European decent), with have fine, dense curly hair. To straighten my hair I prepared using the Airwrap with the Firm Smoothing Brush to get it dry and fairly straight, and then finished with the straightener. Each strand only needed one pass AND no burnt hair smell or tugging on strands! I'm so happy to throw away my old straightener and have this one in my lineup!

Dyson is in a class of its own when it comes to innovation. I own a Dyson Wrap Styler and this new Corrale Hair Straightner is the perfect compliment. I am able to finish my style in less time with one pass through and less damage, instead of multiple like other straighteners. The finish is a smooth texture, not board flat, which I prefer. I have fine hair so I use the lowest setting but I am still able to achieve my desired style that lasts until my next wash. I also love the cordless feature; it eliminates the problem of a tangled cord.

This tool will revolutionize the flat iron industry. Finally I don’t have to worry about the cord. I am free to use at photo sessions outside or when plugs aren’t an option. The heat is perfect and these plates get really close to the roots and are easy to create waves.
