I bought the Corrale about a month ago. I don’t ever plan on buying another flat iron/ straightener again. I also purchased the Dyson Airwrap as well at the same time!! I use them in tandem, and I truly love the results and the ease of use and storage. Highly recommend!!

Superbly engineered

Brilliant design, quality product, and fabulous results! It quickly straightened my wavy, fine hair and it lasts 2-3 days and it’s easy to touch up. The only negative is that the cord doesn’t stay plugged in well if you elect to use it while it’s charging. I have not flown with it yet to say how easy traveling with it is. Overall, it is pricey, but worth it. I have used chi and ghd straighteners for over 20 years and this is the best I’ve ever used. Good job, Dyson! You have a loyal customer!

It’s okay...

The biggest downfall is that it’s heavy and bulky. It’s not light weight and after a while your arm gets tired from holding it. I wish they made it so it was thinner and not as heavy. More sleek. Also when using it attached to the cord because it’s magnetic it comes undone. Lastly, the battery life cordless isn’t long enough to style your hair in one go.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The machines gives up to 30 minutes of styling, and can charge to 90% within 40 minutes when charging from a completely depleted battery.

Feels cheap, but want to love it

I own an airwrap and love it. I purchased the corrale with the same expectations and have been using it a few days now. My initial thoughts were disappointed, as the straightener doesn’t glide through your hair nicely because of the tension. I feel like I’m using a cheap straightener, and it makes a clicking noise as I clench it against my hair. I wanted to love it because of all of the great reviews, but am so confused why people love it so much. The cordless feature is definitely the main pro, as I think dyson should have found a way to use tension that didn’t feel like a cheap straightener while gliding through your hair. I think this is going to be a return for me.

We would recommend making sure parting your hair in 3 sections and ensuring your hair is fully dry before you use the straightener. Another tip we recommend is using some tension in your hold, as the plates are flexible and applying tension will allow the hair to pass through with ease.

Best portable Cordless Straightener

I find with each use I get better and better using the Correll. Blow Dry first.and glide slowly thru your hair to not squeeze tightly just gently and slowly is the key...my hair looks amazing and last a good few days. I like that it is heavier and it looks amazing on the dresser...

I am an absolute Dyson fan! I have the vacuum, blow dryer now the straightener. The battery issue is annoying as it dies quick on me..... i do wish it had some other feature to it for the amount of money i spent on it.... it straightens smooth, supposedly does not damage my hair (wheeeh). Overal its super amazing but i am not blown away like i was with the air wrap.
