Good, but some flaws

I’ve used this several times since I received it now. The very first time I went to use it, my husband was trying to be helpful and pulled out the airplane mode piece and it came all the way out. It took about 35 minutes to get it back in after trying gently so as not to break anything. It shouldn’t be on a pull like that being such a tiny piece. It should actually be connected so when you pull it out it won’t/can’t become detached completely. I was worried we’d broken it before ever getting to use it for a little while, as the flat iron will not work when it’s out. My other slight issue is it’s actually quite heavy compared to what I was used to using previously. I know I’ll get used to the difference in weight, but when it arrived it was almost shockingly heavy. However, those two issues are only worth one star to me because it works well, quickly, and I always feel confident using Dyson products. I have the entire Dyson hair care line, as well as one of their rechargeable vacuums on each level of my house. We love Dyson. When we spoke to a representative, she said to make sure when we leave our review to go over the issue with the airplane mode piece so that the makers can look into ways they may be able to make it better. The weight of it won’t be a problem moving forward, because I’ll get used to it, but it is worth noting. I think the quality of the product itself is excellent and when you compare it to other brands I’ve used that can go cord-free, this one blows all others away since it gets and stays hot even when not plugged in (and that’s not the case with others that are supposed to be cord free). Anyway, I do love it and will be more careful with the airplane piece, and get used to the weight of it.

Dyson hair straightener

I absolutely love my hair straightener. I first bought the dryer and fell in love with that so I got the straightener. It’s so fast and easy to get ready everyday. I couldn’t imagine my life without them.

Not a breakthrough product

The Dyson AirWrap was a genre defining product. The Dyson Supersonic was the best hairdryer ever made. This is a just a very good straightening iron.
It’s incredibly well made, but it doesn’t do anything new or interesting. The best feature, the cordless use, also makes it uncomfortably heavy.
I bought this trusting it would be as great as the AirWrap. I’m sad to report, it is not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed!

I was so excited to purchase this for
my birthday and when i got it i realized how heavy and bulky it is literally feels like lifting weight just to straighten my hair :( loved the blow dryer hate the straightener

Less Heat

I haven’t had this very long but I can already tell it’s going to be a lot healthier than having to use full heat. The only down side is the weight to it but I have pretty much adapted to that.

Best Straightener EVER!

I have bought every styling tool out there some worked really good. Once I bought the Dyson hair dryer and Airwrap I was hooked. So of course once the straightener came out, I HAD to have it. Amazing doesn’t give this straightener the credit it deserves. I AM OBSESSED WITH EVERY DYSON HAIR PRODUCT!!!

Love that it’s cordless

I have had this straightener for about 4 weeks and use it daily. I absolutely love how it feels in the hand and that it is cordless however the battery life is quite short. It was an investment for sure and while I don’t regret this purchase I’m not sure if I would repurchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!
