Pulls hair

Gets your hair straight but pulls a lot of hair out while doing it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This machine features intelligent heat control, fast charging, up to 30-minutes of cord-free styling time, and Magnesium copper alloy flexing plates. With regard to it pulling or catching your hair, we would recommend making sure parting your hair in 3 sections and ensuring your hair is fully dry before you use the Dyson Corrale™ straightener. Another tip we recommend is using some tension as the plates are flexible and applying tension will allow the hair to pass through with ease. We hope this helps.

Awesome Straightener

I love this straightener, it works awesome. The other straight her I used to use would not last, my hair would begin to frizz after awhile.

Low battery life

This straightener is not a significant improvement on the traditional one I have. I have found that battery drains within the first use after charging, and I don’t have curly hair so it does not take long for me to straighten my hair (about 7 min). There is nothing about the straightener that justifies the cost, I feel it is not worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Corrale™ straightener uses four key pieces of technology. The flexing plates provide just the right amount of flex to gather and adapt to the hair, and also provide the tension needed for styling. The intelligent heater system delivers the required heat to the plates. Intelligent heat control regulates the temperature of the plates 100 times a second to make sure they never exceed your chosen temperature. And finally, a 4-cell lithium ion battery enables enhanced styling with cord-free versatility.
The Dyson Corrale™ straightener is a cord-free straightener that provides the same thermal performance as corded products, but with cord-free versatility. It provides up to 30 minutes cord-free styling and is fully recharged in just 70 minutes. It is definitely pricey, especially for a flat iron. But I am absolutely loving this tool. It makes my hair look so shiny and I definitely do enjoy that it is wireless and something I can take with me easily. I could even do my hair on the go.

Great product

I have very thick and curly/wavy Asian Indian hair. With other straighteners, I have to make 5 passes for full straightening, but this one does it really well in 2 passes (1 if I comb first). It heats up in less than 30 seconds (most other straighteners about 2 min). Without keeping the straightener plugged in or on the stand for constant charging, the battery usually lasts about 20 min. It definitely does not stay the full 30 min that it states (which is why i took a star off). A nice plus is that I can charge the straightener 2 ways: directly via cord or charge the stand and place the straighter on the stand. I use the middle heat setting since the lowest does not work too well for my hair type.
It's also nice that you just pull the airplane piece out for it to be able to go through security. It does need to be in a carry-on bc of the battery. Apparently, the straightener cannot be taken to Japan.
The straightener is pretty heavy but doesn't really bother me.
Straightening time is not decreased bc I do have to wait a bit for it to recharge before continuing. But it does seem not to damage my hair too much thus far after straightening 3 times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No Burn, Super Smoothe..but charge is limiting

I have thick curly somewhat coarse hair and this product is amazing. The heat is not damaging and the effect is much better then any other tool I have used. The only drawback is that with the amount of hair I have, it takes a LONG time and the charge does not hold long enough. I place it in the charger between dividing into sections but it still doesn't seem to hold the charge long enough. Aside from that...a game changer!!!

I do like this iron but it has taken awhile to get used to. It is so much heavier and bulkier than my previous flat irons that I do struggle with it. That being said I kept it because I think it is doing a better, safer job of smoothing my hair. My hair doesn't feel as hot, even on the highest setting, so that alone tells me I am hopefully not damaging my hair as much as I usually do when using a flat iron. I have very small arms and hands so this thing can be challenging to get a curl going but I'm getting better at it. Love the cordless feature and the fact that it shuts off automatically when not used for 5 min.

The best straightener ever!

I have super curly hair that is SO hard to straighten - and even harder to keep straight after I finish styling (as in, my curls start popping up within 10mins after using a flat iron). I was skeptical about the Corrale when I first saw it advertised but have to say, it rocks! Super easy to use & my hair stays straight, even in humid weather! It’s pricey but definitely worth it IMHO. 5 stars for Dyson!!
