Awkward to use.

It is obvious that this is a quality piece of equipment, however, I find that I am unable to use it on myself. For me, it is large and awkward to use and kept beeping as it quickly ran out of charge. When my daughter came over, she was able to use it on me and the result was good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Corrale straightener can be used off the charging cord, or even on the cord in hybrid mode. This means that the machine is charging, but still in use. Like any rechargeable battery (like that in your mobile device), when in use, it may not charge as quickly as it would be if off and stand-by, but it can absolutely still be used.
While the battery and flexible plate technology does add some weight, we designed the Corrale to be ergonomical so the weight can be evenly distributed.

I do have all hair tools of Dyson and all are great, this specific one is heavy and i did not see that much difference compare to other hair straighteners

This is an amazing straightener! The cordless feature is wonderful and it straightens so fast! It curls my hair great too! It leaves my hair feeling smooth and undamaged!

My husband bought this for me because I love my Dyson hairdryer so much.
I am ok with the straightener, but I do not like having just 3 heat settings. I have long, color treated frizzy hair. I usually set my straighteners at 370 degrees. This straightener only gives me 365 or jump up to over 400 that would burn my hair.
I have to pass thru my hair several times to get it straight.
I am wondering if something may be wrong with my straightener because the very first use seemed to work perfectly. It also never shows fully charged now.
I honestly would not spend this much money for a straightener again.
Perhaps I am missing a way to increase the heat setting?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I do love this. As of course all hair care tools need to be broken in I do love this and excited and works fast. The safety feature is fantastic my hair was smooth I have Normal to high porosity and 3c hair type. I would recommend indeed. Just now I need to experiment with the heat protectant currently I’m using Chi.

Love the Corrale....It's great to have 3 temperatures for various hair types or styles. The unit heats up
quick with rechargeable battery. Convenient to take in suitcase. Not heavy as some people have mentioned.
