Working on using it effectively...

I have ben using the Dyson Corrale for about one month. I really like that is is cordless but it does not hold a charge for long. I was hoping I would be able to take it on a trip without having to take the charger to spare some room in my bag. The Corrale is heavy but that is not an issue. I have very fine, straight and short hair and have not yet "mastered" how to style it effectively. I am hoping Dyson will come out with stying guides for hair like mine. It seems easier on my hair than a traditional curling iron and flat iron, so I really like that. I am anxious to see how my stylist would judge for damage after more usage. So far it does not look damaged. That is good for my hair type.

The Corrale™ straightener uses four key pieces of technology. The flexing plates provide just the right amount of flex to gather and adapt to the hair, and also provide the tension needed for styling. The intelligent heater system delivers the required heat to the plates. Intelligent heat control regulates the temperature of the plates 100 times a second to make sure they never exceed your chosen temperature. And finally, a 4-cell lithium ion battery enables enhanced styling with cord-free versatility.

It provides up to 30 minutes cord-free styling and is fully recharged in just 70 minutes. Worth every Penny!

I have Dyson’s Airwrap and Hair Dryer and getting this adds to my durable line of Hair tool accessories. I feel safer using this hair straightener because of the technology. It does what it claims and leaves my hair shiny as well. I never had second thoughts in buying it.

I purchased the Corrale about a month ago and it is wonderful. It is able to handle my unruly hair and my hair feels great. I love the cordless feature and it keeps its charge well. Excellent product. Dyson outdid themselves with this one!

Great construction and idea but misses the mark

I bought this a month ago with the Dyson hair dryer. I have thick, coarse, wavy hair. I did like the plates not being stiff like a standard flat iron, I liked that the edges were round so getting an actual curl was possible, I liked that it did cut down on frizz and such while using, I liked that I was able to curl the ends vs a straight end (straight end was fine just my preference), and I liked the idea of being able to use it without a cord. When I did try to use it without the cord it would give me a low battery signal even after being charged. The flat iron itself was heavier than I expected and made moving it around a little harder (not impossible but it was harder). I also didn't find I needed the flat iron when using with the Dyson dryer and a round brush. I ended up returning this product, keeping the blow dryer (it's now my back up "just in case"), and buying the Air Wrap. Cost vs functionality was important for me. With this product I did not feel the cost was worth the few functions (although great) it provided. I would still recommend this product. 4 stars because of price vs functionality

I am African American 65+ woman who recently decided to buy your Hair Dryer and the Corrale Straightener and wow what a fabulous team they've been in helping me do my own hair during this COVID-19 lock down. My hair quickly dries and is straightened without excessive heat!! I may never go back to a Hair Salon again!

I bought this straightener about a month ago and kept the box in case I wanted to return it. I don't keep anything that I'm not satisfied with. This I will be keeping. The Dyson Coralle has got to be the best straightener in existence! It heats up in 25 seconds ( I did time it). I am able to straighten my hair three times between charging. I can't think of any flaws at all. I was concerned about the price, but, it's definitely worth every penny!

I bought this a few weeks ago and I am not one who does anything but straighten my hair and I have a LOT of wavy hair. The straightener works just like in the videos, the battery even last long enough to let me learn to use it and get through all my hair and I still had plenty of battery power left when I was done. (I was a little worried about that) I love the color (I got the purple one) and I love the cradle thing it sits in. I love that it is wireless and I am not fighting cords while trying to curl my hair. I have only used the lowest setting since I am slow and still learning but I do think I need to use the higher setting as my hair is thick and a little course.
