The best hair straightener I have ever used!

I receive the best straightening results from any straightener that I have ever used. I would have preferred an electrical plug rather than a battery and charger.

It takes a while to get used to the heavyness of the straightener. Other than that it is really effective and definitely straightens my hair.

airplane plug

I struggled for a week trying to get the airplane device to plug in so i could use it. Maybe mine was faulty (the plug points would not align). I was moments away from returning it, when it finally snapped in. Won’t be taking it on any plane rides for fear of never getting it plugged in again. Now that it works, i do love it. My dyson service center is still closed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Corrale straightener uses four key pieces of technology. The flexing plates provide just the right amount of flex to gather and adapt to the hair, and also provide the tension needed for styling. The intelligent heater system delivers the required heat to the plates. Intelligent heat control regulates the temperature of the plates 100 times a second to make sure they never exceed your chosen temperature. And finally, a 4-cell lithium ion battery enables enhanced styling with cord-free versatility.

Was really hoping it would be of the caliber of the air wrap and the dryer

I’ve tried this twice now and I have a very fine hair. I had to go over a small section of hair about five times to get it to straighten and even then it wasn’t fully straight. I have straight wavy hair. From reading about it I thought I could just go over I wanted section once with my fine hair but this was not the case at all. Very disappointed

Not great on frizz control

Iron doesn't take care of frizz very well. As soon as I go out in humidity, my hair frizzes again.

The Dyson Corrale was designed to gather hair for more control, and the flexing plates product shiny, straight results - while reducing frizz and producing fewer flyaways. The Corrale's flexing manganese copper alloy plates gather and shape the hair for enhanced styling with less heat. This also helps to prevent heat damage to the hair. The Corrale is the Porsche of hair straighteners.

Haven't played with it much yet, but am SO impressed (as always) with Dyson products. DO be careful when unpacking the first time. One of the parts is VERY delicate and the "instructions" (illustration) is NOT clear. The little piece with an airplane on it should be handled VERY carefully. The 1/2" black plastic "pin" is delicate & can bend out of shape. Watch the video before unpacking or using for the first time so you understand how that particular piece works. DON'T pull it out completely (as I mistakenly did). I do wish Dyson printed instructions were clearer, but oh well. You only pull that airplane piece out entirely if you're flying. Watch a few videos first and you'll be fine.
