Terrible battery life

I love the result it gives me but the battery almost never makes it though all of my hair. Glad I bought a refurbished model. I spend more time using the cord than cordless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for sharing your experience thus far with the Corrale hair straightener. We were so happy to hear that you love the results you get, when using this appliance. The Dyson Corrale™ straightener is a cord-free straightener that provides the same thermal performance as corded products, but with cord-free versatility. It provides up to 30 minutes cord-free styling and is fully recharged in just 70 minutes. You can also extend your run time by attaching the magnetic 360ᵒ charging cable for use in hybrid charge mode should you need longer. Also, while in use to help prolong the battery life, we'd recommend placing the straightener back on the dock, between styling sections of your hair.
Using a higher heat setting, styling with damp hair, and ambient room temperature can all have an affect on how long your appliance will work, unplugged. For longer styling sessions, you can use hybrid charge mode. Starting from a full charge will also help you prolong the cordless run time. In case you didn’t already know, in just 40 minutes your straightener will charge from 0 to 90%. I can’t be without, love love love!!

This is by far my absolutely favorite straightener to use. I have very thick, type 2c wavy frizzy hair & I am able to get through my entire head and be at about 25% left still. Highly recommend!

It’s gotten a bad rap because it is very pricey for a hair straightener but it is truly amazing !
It straightens with finished ends and can use to create those beach waves . I’m sorry I waited so long to get !

Amazing the frizz is gone!!!

I got this for myself and my daughter as a Christmas gift. It is amazing, after going natural with my curls nothing works when I wanted a straight look and living in Miami with the humidity forget it. Until now, this is a game changing product, I LOVE IT. I have the Dyson blow dryer and Dyson air wrap which dries my hair amazingly before I straighten with this gem. Get it you will not regret it, I have waist length curly Dominican hair, no perm no problem!!!

Magic hair straightner

Wow! I spend lots of $$$$ for straightners for my curly thick hair and so happy my Hubbs bought this for my Christmas gift!! The only issue is battery does not last long but i use the plug in to outlet and keeps it charged. I now have to straighten with one pass vs 3 to 4 with other straightners

Good straightner but is very bulky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this straightener because I have the air wrap and the dryer and love both of them. I have thin bleached blonde platinum hair and it pulls a little bit when I straighten my hair. I got this because it’s suppose to be “less damaging” to the hair. I use it daily but it still pulls my hair even on low heat.

I like the idea

Best Straightener Ever Used!

This is the best straightener I have ever used. I get compliments every time I straighten my hair, no joke. It leaves my hair shiny and silky, doesn’t pull my hair and will straighten each section in one slow pass. And the battery is pretty good. I can straighten my hair twice in one charge. I have medium length hair that’s on the thinner side. Definitely worth the investment!
