I’m sure this is a great product, however I couldn’t get it to work. I could never get the airplane chip into the straightener. I had to take it back.

Hello Teri, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for sharing your review. The Corrale straightener uses four key pieces of technology. The flexing plates provide just the right amount of flex to gather and adapt to the hair, and also provide the tension needed for styling. The intelligent heater system delivers the required heat to the plates. Intelligent heat control regulates the temperature of the plates 100 times a second to make sure they never exceed your chosen temperature. And finally, a 4-cell lithium ion battery enables enhanced styling with cord-free versatility.

While it's unusual to hear that the flight-ready tag would come out of the machine, it is a replaceable part. Should have waited for the new and improved version

I love dyson so this was a bit of a disappointment. The cordless feature is great. The weight is not so bad, the battery life doesn't bother me. I cradle ithe straightner when I need to set it down and the mentary charge is enough to keep it going while I do my hair. The downfall is that no matter what I do the corrale straightener grabs my hair leaving obvious lines. The grabbing happens while straightening and curling. Such a disappointment. I hope they offer a trade in program for the new and improved version.

I am not sure what technology is at work, but this makes my style last days. Other straighteners, even high-end brands, didn't have this same effect.

Dyson Corrale Straightener is a loser!

I tried to use it four times before putting it away in a drawer. The little piece that activates it does not fit well and the straightener shuts off every time it falls out. I WASTED a lot of money on this appliance from Dyson. I still love the hairdryer, but the Dyson Corrale is a loser!

Amazing Results

I was pressed for time and my Dyson hair dryer and my Dyson straightener came to my rescue. I had perfectly smooth, straight hair in less than 15 mins after my shower and I was able to make my appointment on time. Thank you, Dyson. Very happy with my products.
