I love the wireless feature and the ability to curl. I have arthritis in my hands and they fatigue from the weight of the wand. That is my only negative Remark otherwise I love it!

Short Battery Life!

I got my Dyson flat iron only a few weeks ago and I'm noticing that the battery life is very short! Its so annoying when it dies before you're done because then you have to wait while its charging! Definitely not fun!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear that in your use, you found the battery life to be too short. The Corrale™ straightener uses four key pieces of technology. The flexing plates provide just the right amount of flex to gather and adapt to the hair, and also provide the tension needed for styling. The intelligent heater system delivers the required heat to the plates. Intelligent heat control regulates the temperature of the plates 100 times a second to make sure they never exceed your chosen temperature. And finally, a 4-cell lithium ion battery enables enhanced styling with cord-free versatility.
It also features hybrid charge mode. Hybrid charge mode involves styling with the Dyson Corrale™ straightener with its magnetic 360° charging cable attached. Using the Dyson Corrale™ straightener in hybrid charge mode allows you to extend your run time should you need longer. Also, while in use to help prolong the battery life, we'd recommend placing the straightener back on the dock, between styling sections of your hair. Great for Coarse, Thick Hair!

I have all the other Dyson styling products (Super Sonic Hair Dryer and Air Wrap) and have been extremely pleased with the hair dryer. I decided to try the flat iron because since I have been using the hair dryer, my thick, coarse hair has become significantly more manageable. This iron takes some getting used to and I recommend reading the instructions prior to use - especially the part about NOT tearing off the airplane mode toggle!! The iron charges and heats up quickly however if you have thick hair like mine, I recommend resting your iron on the charging station after each pass or as you regroup yourself for another strip of hair. If you do not have thick hair, the charge will probably last for your entire styling session. I had to put mine on the cradle to charge for a cordless option. My hair is extremely shiny and it feels SO soft and smooth I cannot stop messing with it! I also have noticed there is no breakage nor does the hair require multiple passes. One pass and done!! You will save so much time in doing your hair and will get many compliments on your hair! Right now I am experimenting with curls and hope to have that perfected soon. I would buy this item again and again. It is worth every cent!

I love this hair straightener, fact that it’s cordless is huge plus. Love everything about it, but I have had it for 1 month now and noticed it’s frying my hair, I even turned temp down and it’s still doin it after fact I went got all dead ends cut off. Is anyone else having this problem?

The Best Straightener EVER!

As a busy mom of a 15 month old I barely have time to straighten my hair. This flat iron as been the absolute best! I'm biracial so my hair can be challenging but after blowdrying it with my Dyson Airwrap brush attachment, it only takes 20 minutes for me to straighten it to perfection with this amazing flat iron! Touch-ups are a breeze too and I don't feel like my hair is getting damaged. It's actually shinier than ever! I can't say enough good things about this flat iron! I feel free to flat iron my hair anywhere thanks to it being cordless. This has to be my favorite tech purchase this year! Thank you for this straightener and all of your amazing products Dyson!!! :D

I am not as impressed as I thought I would be. I thought it would flatten my hair better. I did like that it is cordless. I don’t think it was worth the money. Not my favorite Dyson product.
