Absolutely amazed! Exceeded expectations!

My new straighteners arrived last week and I was impatient to try them so I set them up and used them on (quite frankly) dirty hair that I had last straightened 5 days ago. In the humidity where I live it takes no time to get a bit frizzy and less sleek. It is no exaggeration to say that I was shocked at the speed with which my hair looked freshly coiffed but also how low the temp was that achieved it. My traditional flatirons required 390 and multiple runs through to work. My new Dyson Corrale Straightener was set at 330 (the lowest setting) and literally needed 2 runs through at most (plus with bigger sections) so the time saving was huge. I did my hair in 10 minutes without the labor intensiveness of my traditional irons. Also, being a blonde with highlights my ends often looked fried after I flatiron. But not anymore. Honestly. I would not have believed it was possible. Best hair product purchase ever.

As a 2yr Breast Cancer survivor and after going through Chemo, my hair grew back more course, frizzy and curly. My family purchased me the Dyson hair dryer last year thinking it would be gentle on my new hair without damaging & drying it out. I love it, so much I decided to try the new Corrale. I was on the fence about it, so I thought I'd give it a try. So far, it has NOT DISAPPOINT. My hair is smoother without harsh heat without drying out my hair. and damaging it. So far so good. Definitely a game change. I am very very pleased. Worth the money. plus it has a 2yr warranty! Thank you Dyson for hair tools that let me feel good about me again & look good.

Creates static/pulls hair

When use the Corrale to straighten or curl it creates static and frizz in my hair. It also pull my hair and does not slide easily. I have fairly straight highlighted hair and purchased this for less damage. Wanted to live it but just doesn’t work for me. Requested a return.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This machine features intelligent heat control, fast charging, up to 30-minutes of cord-free styling time, and Magnesium copper alloy flexing plates. With regard to it pulling or catching your hair, we would recommend making sure parting your hair in 3 sections and ensuring your hair is fully dry before you use the Dyson Corrale™ straightener. Another tip we recommend is using some tension as the plates are flexible and applying tension will allow the hair to pass through with ease.

Great straightener!

I was initially on the fence about purchasing this product due to the cost. Well, I’m glad that I made the investment. This straightener works very well on my naturally curly hair. I’ve been using it for a few months and my hair remains healthy with little-to-no split ends. I also use it for beach waves; yes, I straighten it and then add loose curls. It is a little heavier than your traditional straighteners, but that’s not a deal breaker for me. Yes, I recommend this product. And the brand Dyson speaks for itself.

Not what I was hoping for

I have had this straightener for several weeks now, but have been disappointed for the price. It is heavy and difficult to make curls. Within being off the charger for 10 minutes, the batter has already lost half of its charge (despite being fully charged when turned on). It certainly has been a disappointment considering the cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Corrale straightener uses four key pieces of technology. The flexing plates provide just the right amount of flex to gather and adapt to the hair, and also provide the tension needed for styling. The intelligent heater system delivers the required heat to the plates. Intelligent heat control regulates the temperature of the plates 100 times a second to make sure they never exceed your chosen temperature. And finally, a 4-cell lithium ion battery enables enhanced styling with cord-free versatility.
With regard to the run time, it provides up to 30 minutes cord-free styling and is fully recharged in just 70 minutes. You can also extend your run time by attaching the magnetic 360ᵒ charging cable for use in hybrid charge mode should you need longer. Also, while in use to help prolong the battery life, we'd recommend placing the straightener back on the dock, between styling sections of your hair.

Love my Dyson Corrale

I bought this almost three weeks ago and absolutely love it. It’s a great product with amazing heat settings. It’s safe and nice to use especially with it’s core free feature.
But the straightener effect didn’t last long for me(May be due to my hair type or how many times I used the straightener in one session). Overall a must have, it’s expensive but it does make you feel royal about your hair. Again, this is definitely an expensive piece you would want in your closet.

The holy grail of hair stighteners!

I've been through many hair straighteners in my life, but this product surpasses all of them. Charges fast, heats up fast and strightens my hair effortlessly. I am absolutely amazing by this product. I can't believe how well it works! I would highly recommend this product to everyone I know.
