My Experience...

I received this product about 2 weeks ago. So here’s my...To Be Honest, review. Like many, I did my research on Dyson Corrale straightener and own another flat iron. Yes, does this cost more...absolutely and it’s a pricey investment. I am African American with textured hair. Let me say that about 97% of the time I wear my hair in it’s natural state who’s is curly. My texture is 4a/4b. I do invested in my hair with products that will keep my hair at its best. With that said, I straighten my hair about 4 times a year when I want a change. I took a chance on buying the Corrale for many reasons. Yes, I own the Supersonic and the Airwrap. Both have treated my hair well. In fact, both left my hair feeling amazing and might I add a lot healthier than before I used it. So I said, why not try the Corrale. When I tried the Corrale, I noticed a few things. Did it get my hair straight? Yes! Was my hair shiny like others have noted? Yes! Did it snag my hair like many before me have experienced? Yes absolutely. So I needed to figure out why. As stated before, I only straighten my hair 4 times a year. This is done when I want to give myself a trim or a cut and then I wear my hair straight for a couple of weeks then I’m back to being a curly girl. Well lo and behold, after I trimmed my ends, I used the straightener afterwards and my hair simply glided between the plates without ANY issues. For those who have curly hair, we experience little “fairy” knots (because who knows how these knots happen and only fairies can do this LOL) in our hair and the Corrale is picking up these “fairy” knots up on the plates. I’m pretty sure this is not only a curly girl problem. So for those experiencing snags with the Corrale, try to get a good trim or cut and then revisit the flatiron to see how the plates work on the hair. I will be keeping the Corrale. I usually don’t write reviews. Hopefully this will help others like other reviews have helped me. Good luck with using your Corrale!!

Very easy to use, lightweight and gives me better results in half the time! I use this straightener 3 times a week, and it works!! Battery life is plenty for my needs!

I have extremely thick hair that can be difficult to straighten. The Dyson does a fantastic job leaving my hair very natural looking. My family was shocked by how long my hair is once I straightened it. I’m still playing with beach waves and curling with the Corrale, it’s a great hair tool that I strongly recommend.

My husband got me this as a present because my other one was on it's last leg. I love that it can be cordless. I love that it has "airplane mode". I love the plates. I love the different heat settings & that it actually gets to that setting. I love the size of it. I love that it doesn't frying my hair. I feel like my hair is a little bit more nourished than usual (instead of fried & laid to the side). My hair also doesn't have that burned smell when I finish either.

Hello Dyson, After 30 min of using my straightener the batterie dies on me which is ok but when I connect to the charger and attempt to use while connected its does not allow me to continue straightening my hair, I do let it charge for at least 5 min but it dies on me again, Am I doing something wrong? or do I fully have to wait 20 min to charge? Help!

Hybrid mode means you can use the machine while it's charging. While the machine can take 40 minutes to reach 90% of the charge on the battery, hybrid mode allows you to continue using the machine to finish styling your hair.
