I wanted to love this

I wanted to love this I have a lot of Dyson products and love my blow dryer. This product did not work for me and I returned it. It really pulled my hair and didn’t do a good job of straightening or curling.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Corrale is engineered with flexible plates that conform to the sectioned hair, giving less need for more pass throughs and with the intelligent heat control, less heat damage.
If any snagging happens to occur, we always recommend sectioning the hair off into smaller sections. Not only will this prevent any possible snagging, this will ensure that the heat gets distributed well to provide a silky, smooth and sleek straightening.

I love not having the cord. It leaves hair so shiny and silky! Love the flexibility of the plates, and it’s pink! Love it!

Poor battery life. Multiple returns

Normally Dyson products are great, but not the Dyson Corrale Straightener. The battery barely lasts 15 minutes on a full charge before having to plug back up and this isn’t at the highest heat setting. What’s the point of a wireless straightener that can’t be used wirelessly?

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you've had such a disappointing experience with the Dyson Corrale. The Corrale™ straightener uses four key pieces of technology. The flexing plates provide just the right amount of flex to gather and adapt to the hair, and also provide the tension needed for styling. The intelligent heater system delivers the required heat to the plates. Intelligent heat control regulates the temperature of the plates 100 times a second to make sure they never exceed your chosen temperature. And finally, a 4-cell lithium ion battery enables enhanced styling with cord-free versatility. It provides up to 30 minutes cord-free styling and is fully recharged in just 70 minutes. You can also extend your run time by attaching the magnetic 360ᵒ charging cable for use in hybrid charge mode should you need longer. Also, while in use to help prolong the battery life, we'd recommend placing the straightener back on the dock, between styling sections of your hair.
The cord-free run time will depend on the amount of time the unit spend heating the plates, as well as how damp your hair is, the number and speed of passes made and the ambient temperature of the room when the unit is powered on. Flat Ironed my hair so quickly!!

I'm a hair stylist who already uses the Dyson Supersonic, so I was curious to see how well their flat iron worked. OMG, my mind is blown, the heat up time is so fast, and I only had to make one pass over each section of hair. Thank you Dyson for once again bringing it when it comes to invovative products that have been well researched and developed.

Plastic melted off & not used at hottest temp?!

melted... so disappointed I used it at the middle setting for temp. One week and it was messed up.
