Love my straightener

I purchased the straightener a month ago. I use it almost everyday. The straightener is a little heavier than other straighteners that I have used. But the weight is really not a problem. Because it is comfortable to hold. The Dyson is so easy to use. My hair glides through the plates with ease. I am able to create curls and waves as well as smooth and straighten my hair. I love that It is battery powered and I do not have a cord to deal with when straightening my hair. I highly recommend the Dyson Corrale straightener. I also have the Dyson hair dryer and both products are great hair styling tools. I cannot wait to try the air wrap.

Great straightener, good curling iron

I really wanted to LOVE this for the price, but I'm just not quite sure. The straighter is great, and I love the cordless feature. I was running late the other day and took it in the car to fix my hair while my husband drove! I am still trying to find my groove to use it as a curling iron. Sometimes I get a little frustrated and find that my hair doesn't slip through easily. Sometimes it does, and other times it doesn't. My hair is thick, so I have to use small sections, which makes it more time consuming than a regular curling iron. However, the curl really stays. I could easily curl it on Friday and my hair would still look great on Sunday with just a super quick touch up, so that's great. I agree that the charge doesn't last nearly as long as I would have hoped. I can straighten my hair, no problem, but sometimes I need to charge it to be able to finish curling my hair. The cord is very bulky, which is a drawback for traveling. Overall, I like it, but I don't think I can say I LOVE it.

Love this Iron!

I have used every top name brand Flat Iron on the market, they all damaged my fine thin hair to some extent by causing "frizziness" and drying out my hair. This Dyson Corrale straightener is by far THE BEST iron I have ever used. My hair is sleek, smooth and shiny after just one pass through my hair. I no longer have damaged looking hair since I started using this. I an beyond happy and so grateful this product exists. I t was my last hope!

Coarse hair

If you have coarse hair this may not be the product for you. I place mine to the highest temperature and does not work on my entire hair specially the roots. Too much money for it not to work on my hair. Sorry but I wasted a lot of money on this product and do not recommend unless you have natural straight hair. I will stick to my old one that works perfect for less money. I disappointed.

The Corrale has three different temperature settings: 330°F (165°C), 365°F (185°C) and 410°F (210°C) to suit your hair type, length and desired style. The optimum temperature for styling will depend on your hair type and the style you are trying to achieve. Damage from extreme heat increases with the amount of heat you apply to the hair. We therefore recommend starting at the lowest temperature setting and increasing the temperature if needed. The Dyson Corrale™ straightener’s flexing plates allow you to achieve your same style but with less heat, therefore half the damage. We're sorry that you didn't see better results with your hair type.

This Anti-Dextrous Tomboy Loves It

Even I can use it! Honestly, I bought it months and months and months ago, because I love my SuperSonic and AirWrap, but I was afraid I’d set my head aflame, literally never having used a flat iron in my *cough cough* years. It took some experimenting and patience (thanks, COVID, for giving me nothing but time and nowhere to go, no matter how bad my hair looked), but I’ve got it now and love it! I use it to add some additional wave, rather than a straightener, and once you figure out front vs. back in the mirror and your angles, you’re all set.
