I have been straightening my hair for a long time, but after taking a couple years off from doing so and allowing it time to repair and heal, I wanted to invest in a new straightener that would help preserve my hair. My hair goes down to my hips and is on the thin/normal side as far as thickness. I prefer to use this straightener at the highest heat setting (410F) so I don't have to go as slow with each strand, as compared to the lower settings. But I can't get through straightening all my hair just on the battery life. I feel like the battery runs out pretty fast and even sometimes I'll have the straightener plugged in as I'm using it and it will still die... Also if its dead you can't just plug it in and have it charge as you're using it. Mine made me wait until it was fully charged again until I could use it. So one morning I was in a time crunch and it kept turning off due to low battery so I had to use my old one, which I was not expecting to have to do after spending the money I did. Maybe its my fault for not doing more research but I honestly expected a bit more out of this straightener. with that being said, I do get a good, soft straighten on my hair. and even the following days my hair will hold the straighten better, compared to my old one. So overall it wasn't a total waste of money, I was just expecting it to not be such a hassle.

I love love love that it’s cordless. Heavier than I expected. The battery also doesn’t last as long as I thought it would. But over all I’m happy with the purchase.

I bought a hair straightener a month ago. Is it expensive? Yes, but worth every dollar, I would buy again and again. I use four dyson products, and all four great products

I have had my hair straightener only for a few weeks and the button broke that keeps the hair straightener closed I am waiting to see how dealing with the service center is and I will update my review

The best hair styler EVER!!

I cannot RAVE about my Dyson Corral enough! The cordless feature is a real GAME CHANGER! I can easily use both hands for harder to reach areas! I can make gentle waves, tighter curls or go totally smooth. I have a lot of thick hair so doing a small amount at s time was what I needed - but because I only have to go thru each section only 1 .time, I'm done in half the time as when I used my old flat iron! I've gotten a lot of compliments about my hair which give me the opportunity to tell everyone about how much I LOVE my DYSON CORRAL!
