Ok product not worth the price

I purchased this over a year ago and was so excited about all the great features. Although it did provide less damage, sleek design snd it’s wireless. it came with a lot of room for improvement. it is heavy. After a while it starts to hurt my wrist. My hair is very easy to manage it’s straight and typically need a pass and I’m good. But with this product it takes a few passes. The charger is the worst part. It takes a long time to charge. It runs out of battery quickly. I do like it but I don’t love it. I wouldn’t recommend it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The flexing plates provide just the right amount of flex to gather and adapt to the hair, and also provide the tension needed for styling. The intelligent heater system delivers the required heat to the plates. Intelligent heat control regulates the temperature of the plates 100 times a second to make sure they never exceed your chosen temperature. And finally, a 4-cell lithium ion battery enables enhanced styling with cord-free versatility.
You might find that when you first pick up the Corrale, it does seem a bit heavier. We've packed this straightener with an advanced 4-cell Lithium-ion battery, which gives you maximum styling time along with the thermal performance of a corded device. Our engineer's placed the battery in such a way to help provide balance in the hand. This helps to give you maximum control while styling - all without the cord! It provides up to 30 minutes cord-free styling and is fully recharged in just 70 minutes. You can also extend your run time by attaching the magnetic 360ᵒ charging cable for use in hybrid charge mode should you need longer. Also, while in use to help prolong the battery life, we'd recommend placing the straightener back on the dock, between styling sections of your hair.

Efficient Extraordinary hair tool

I do love this tool! It heats up incredibly fast and stays hot. I have a lot of hair so once charge typically is not long enough, but not a problem to plug in. Yes it is heavier than any other hair tool I have used but that is not an issue for me. I .am still lear7ning styling tips and tricks and am confident i will only continue to love it more as time goes on. I gave it 44 stars because of the price other wise I give it 5 stars. The only Dyson product I love a little more is my cordless Dyson vacuum! Thank you for making such great products! BTW....I would love a free product anytime from you to review....Just saying :-)

Not worth the cost

I bought this straightener about a year ago so I've had plenty of experience using it. I don't understand why the price is so high. Other than the fact that it's cordless, I don't feel it has any feature or works any better than other straighteners I've used over the years. I have fine textured hair with minimal wave and I have to run the straightener over my hair multiple times to get all of the wave out and as others have stated, the appliance is heavy and gets uncomfortable. For this price there are a few glitches that shouldn't be there and have been mentioned by others; it doesn't recharge very quickly, sometimes it doesn't charge at all between uses and I know it's sitting on the charger correctly, and I have to press the button to turn it on just right or multiple times to get it to actually turn on. Overall, I feel it works OK, but not any better than the competition. At this price point, the performance should be so much better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There’s nothing else like the Corrale

I’ve been using a straightener every day for about 7 years, so it’s incredibly important to me to have a straightener that delivers consistently great results. The Dyson Corrale has completely blown me away. Compared to the results I got from my old straightener, my hair is so much softer, shinier, and smoother. The fact that the Corrale is cordless makes it unlike anything else on the market. Going for a swim at the beach or getting caught in the rain doesn’t mean my hair is ruined if I have the Corrale in my bag. I totally recommend this straightener to anyone who has even the slightest interest.

Great design, convenient wireless feature

I have several Dyson products and really wanted to give this flat iron a try. The pros are it heats very quickly and can be wireless or wired for longer use. I notice the flexing plates pull hair less. I haven't noticed a better performance than my Chi but feel it's comparable, which is great since my Chi is amazing. I think I just expected it to be a lot better in performance which is why I gave it a 4 out of 5. Great product but overpriced for what it is.

Usually takes 3-4 passes to straighten & shine my shoulder length blonde hair.
With this Dyson, it takes 1 pass and it’s perfection!
Not having to argue with a cord is a huge relief. The charge easily lasted an entire styling. I set it at 300 degrees because I have bleach blonde hair and it is an exceptionally smooth result.
I’ve wanted to try this out for a year, but didn’t get it because of the high cost… it’s easily worth the price for the time it saves. And my hair is shinier and flows better.

Best Straightener I’ve Owned

This straightener is by far the best I’ve owned. It leaves my hair feeling much softer. I love that it’s cordless, & I only use maybe 20% of the battery for almost waist length hair.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not what I expected from Dyson. I had great hopes for this purchase. My hair is thinning out due to stress and age and I wanted to invest in to dyson technology to better protect my hair. This item loses charge very quickly. even when it’s plugged in it still powered off. The straightener is also very heavy and puts a great weight on hands while using. The result of straightener isn’t great either. It left my hair coarse and lumpy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
