This machine features intelligent heat control, fast charging, up to 30-minutes of cord-free styling time, and Magnesium copper alloy flexing plates. With regard to it pulling or catching your hair, we would recommend making sure parting your hair in 3 sections and ensuring your hair is fully dry before you use the Dyson Corrale™ straightener. Another tip we recommend is using some tension as the plates are flexible and applying tension will allow the hair to pass through with ease. We hope this helps.

Great , but flight tag problem!!!

I bought it for My granddaughter she loves the Dyson córrale , but we have had issues with the flight tag, which has made it impossible for her to use it, waiting for this part to come back in stock, thank you great hair piece!!!

I love this straightener. I do put it back in the charger as I am straightening my hair because I have a lot of hair! I am just happy to not have to deal with the cord as I work around my head. I would take the charger if I traveled with it.

After a a few months this thing does not work anymore. This is very expensive for not working after 8 months of a very light use.

Battery

I recently purchased the Dyson straightener. I do love it but unfortunately a full charge doesn’t last more than 10 minutes. This past weekend I traveled out of state and didn’t bring my charger since it indicated it had a full charge. After using it for 10 minutes I was rushing to finish my hair since it was telling me it was low battery. I have shoulder length hair and medium thickness. Needless to say I panicked because I didn’t bring the charger. I have similar problems reading the other comments posted. I have used it plugged into the charger and it ALWAYS comes unattached to the straightener. Very frustrating to use but I love the outcome of my hair. Is there a solution to this?

Does what it claims but it's heavy

I have all the Dyson products and love them. This one is good. I love the way it curls my straight hair in a reverse wave. It is heavy though and difficult to style the back because of that. I just use it on the front and battery has been OK.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn’t stay charged

So disappointed in this straightener. It loses it’s FULL charge before I can straighten 1/3 of my hair, so in about 7 minutes. Not worth the money and I’d return if I could

We would certainly expect you to receive longer than 7 minutes in cord-free styling time. The Corrale™ straightener uses four key pieces of technology. The flexing plates provide just the right amount of flex to gather and adapt to the hair, and also provide the tension needed for styling. The intelligent heater system delivers the required heat to the plates. Intelligent heat control regulates the temperature of the plates 100 times a second to make sure they never exceed your chosen temperature. And finally, a 4-cell lithium ion battery enables enhanced styling with cord-free versatility.

Doesn’t keep a charge

Battery dies after 8 minutes. It does not charge if it’s on, so you can’t use with a cord if the battery runs out. Also, the blades are so thick that you can’t really get to the base of your scalp and straighten the back of your hair completely.

The Dyson Corrale™ straightener is a cord-free straightener that provides the same thermal performance as corded products, but with cord-free versatility. It provides up to 30 minutes cord-free styling and is fully recharged in just 70 minutes. You can also extend your run time by attaching the magnetic 360ᵒ charging cable for use in hybrid charge mode should you need longer. Also, while in use to help prolong the battery life, we'd recommend placing the straightener back on the dock, between styling sections of your hair. If you begin with wet or damp hair, this can cause the plates to cool as they pass over the hair, which can lessen cord-free styling time. Ambient room temperature can also affect your cord-free styling time.
