I purchased the purple Dyson Corrale straightener because I wanted a straighter that would not cause hair breakage. I'm completely satisfied with its performance and how amazing it makes my hair look between washing.

Great for International Travel

So I have baby fine wavy blondish/brownish hair and not a lot of it so I've never had to worry about the battery not lasting long enough. I use it on the lowest setting and I had to learn not to squeeze it too tight. And I'm having a friend from Germany purchase an extra charging cord and mail it to me so I can FINALLY have a truly international hair straightener solution! Kudos to Dyson for (intentionally or unintentionally) letting me use my everyday hair tools around the world and I hope they figure out how to do this with the Airwrap soon also!

I love Dyson for my home...and my hair. This achieves the blown-out look that I can not usually achieve on my own at home. I use it daily. I love it.

Best Straightener

Dyson Corale very sleek in design, I was amazed at the efficiency with the heat time and very impressed with the cordless feature. My hair was done under completely under 30 minutes and the temperature control settings for my hair type was just a very well complimentary feature and the results were top quality quality salon.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too Expensive Not Enough Juice

I purchased this last year. I have extremely thick hair and thought it would be a game changer. First, the charge does not last long and if you want to use it while charging the charger will fall off. Then the temperature is too low for my type of hair, so it took several runs just to get it right. It’s just a lot of money that I could have saved purchasing a device at a fraction of the cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The flexing plates provide just the right amount of flex to gather and adapt to the hair, and also provide the tension needed for styling. The intelligent heater system delivers the required heat to the plates. Intelligent heat control regulates the temperature of the plates 100 times a second to make sure they never exceed your chosen temperature. And finally, a 4-cell lithium ion battery enables enhanced styling with cord-free versatility.
You may find that with having thicker hair, you're having to section your hair in to smaller sections, which may also help with your cord-free styling time, if you're making a pass over a thinner section of hair. This will allow the heat from the plates to penetrate the hair, resulting in fewer passes.

achieves the look I really like

I bought this about 10 months ago. It works like everything else of Dyson's --- meaning it works great. It's super fast, super safe, super effective at achieving the 'super straight' look that suits me best. I absolutely love it.

Overall this is a great product . It gets my hair straight with less heat and takes a fraction of the time . Make sure that the Device is fully charged before using . The only con is that it is kind of bulky but it doesn’t take long to get use to using the machine . I use it on both my hair as well as my daughters hair . It has replaced all of the straightening devices that I used before .
