Great product but needs revisions

I bought the straightener for my wife for christmas but she keeps telling me it pulls her hair is there something that can be done or im going going to have to proceed with a return, the blow dryer and the air wrap work perfect.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that in your wife's experience, she has found that the flexing plates on the Corrale™ straightener feel like they are pulling her hair. This machine features intelligent heat control, fast charging, up to 30-minutes of cord-free styling time, and Magnesium copper alloy flexing plates. With regard to it pulling or catching your hair, we would recommend making sure parting your hair in 3 sections and ensuring your hair is fully dry before you use the Dyson Corrale™ straightener. Another tip we recommend is using some tension as the plates are flexible and applying tension will allow the hair to pass through with ease. We hope this helps.

I purchased the Corrale for my wife, she loves the ease of use, wireless and the feel of it when she uses it. The build quality is great, the digital screen is easy to see and read.

This is one of the worst flat irons I’ve ever used!!! I also don’t even have very thick hair! It Doesn’t get hot enough and requires so many passes!!! Also the battery last 30 mins tops which if the iron was of good quality would actually be enough! To top it off it’s heavy as heck!

The Corrale™ straightener uses four key pieces of technology. The flexing plates provide just the right amount of flex to gather and adapt to the hair, and also provide the tension needed for styling. The intelligent heater system delivers the required heat to the plates. Intelligent heat control regulates the temperature of the plates 100 times a second to make sure they never exceed your chosen temperature. And finally, a 4-cell lithium ion battery enables enhanced styling with cord-free versatility.
The Corrale features three precise heat settings: 330°F, 365°F, 410°F, to suit your hair type, length and desired style. If you are finding that you need to make multiple passes on a section of hair, we would suggest using smaller sections, to ensure that every hair fiber is heated and straightened evenly.
Your Corrale provides the same thermal performance as corded products, but with cord-free versatility. It provides up to 30 minutes cord-free styling and is fully recharged in just 70 minutes. You can also extend your run time by attaching the magnetic 360ᵒ charging cable for use in hybrid charge mode should you need longer. Also, while in use to help prolong the battery life, we'd recommend placing the straightener back on the dock, between styling sections of your hair.

Great product low battery life

The product is a great product, it gets hit quickly, it straighten with 1-2 passes, but it only stays charge to straighten half my hair is a turn off. I went out and brought another flat iron one that plugs in so Ruth the dyson dies I have another flat iron. For the price of the dyson it should stay charge much longer.

I'm also happy to hear that you've appreciated how fast the unit heats up and is ready to use. Your Dyson Corrale™ straightener will provide up to 30 minutes of cord-free styling. However this will vary depending on heat setting and how the product is used. Your Dyson Corrale fast charges during the first 40 minutes of being plugged in (up to ~95% of battery charge). For the remainder of the 30 minutes of charging the process slows to protect the battery from being over charged.
You can also extend your run time by attaching the magnetic 360ᵒ charging cable for use in hybrid charge mode should you need longer. Also, while in use to help prolong the battery life, we'd recommend placing the straightener back on the dock, between styling sections of your hair. When using the cord attached, you may wish to make slower passes to ensure that the cable stays securely connected.

Best flat iron I have ever had!

I saw the Dyson straightener and I was in love, but it’s quite expensive so I read everything I could and decided it seemed worth it, it is!! I never realized how much easier it is to fix your without a cord!! Love the heat settings too. It is gentle on my hair and my hair looks better then ever!

My husband gave me thr corrale as a birthday present in october, I started using it a month ago and it doesn't straights well.. My hair looks fluffy and horrible.. My old 100 dlls straightener works so much better and I ended up using that one to fix the horrible mess corrale did... Maybe I got a deffective corrale because it feels like is not doing anything with my hair and all the videos show something im not getting :( ... Hope I can get a replacement or my money back

Very heavy and bulky

I own practically every Dyson product ever made, and this is the first one that’s been disappointing. It’s bulky and heavy. I can’t tell that it really works much better than the hair straightener I had before, which cost several hundred dollars less. It’s so heavy, I probably won’t travel with it. However, it is a nice feature that you can charge it and use it cordless. And once it’s charged it heats up very quickly. I gave serious thought to returning it, because of its expense, but I’ve decided to go ahead and keep it.
