Disappointed!

Loved the Dyson hairdryer, so was excited to purchase the Corrale, in hopes of loving this product too. Unfortunately, the Corrale did not live up to my expectations.
The straightener does not open up wide enough (not even close) and the little teeth feel like it's ripping out my hair. Beyond that, the battery starts fading almost immediately.
Definitely not worth the money, I'm sorry I purchased it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Nellie, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that in your use, you've been disappointed with the Corrale™ Straightener. We would not expect to hear that you're not able to fit your hair between the plates to straighten each section. If that's the experience you are finding, you will want to use smaller sections of hair, which allows the plates to ensure even heating as well as one-pass straightening. As the plates are flexible, one tip we do recommend is to use some tension, as applying tension will allow the hair to pass through with ease. You will also want to make sure that your hair is completely dry before use as well.

When designing technology, we are conscious to make sure that our products interact most efficiently for and with our customers. Need longer battery life

One of the nice features is this is a cordless flat iron but when you use the cordless function - battery depletes quickly even after full charge. Doesn’t work well for longer hair since you need to keep recharging and then wait or just keep it plugged in which defeated the whole cordless feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your straightener will provide up to 30 minutes of cord-free styling. However this will vary depending on heat setting and how the product is used. Your Dyson Corrale fast charges during the first 40 minutes of being plugged in (up to ~95% of battery charge). For the remainder of the 30 minutes of charging the process slows to protect the battery from being over charged. The Corrale also features hybrid charge mode. Hybrid charge mode involves styling with the Dyson Corrale™ straightener with its magnetic 360° charging cable attached. Using the Dyson Corrale™ straightener in hybrid charge mode allows you to extend your run time should you need longer.

This makes flat ironing your hair so convenient! I can bring it everywhere! It heats up so fast and works on my thick hair and my daughter's thin hair
The one complaint I have is the battery life does not last long at all! It can just make finishing my head. Also there is no travel charger to bring with you, the original charger is huge. So once I bring it somewhere and do my hair that's it no touch ups it's useless bc it's dead.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Haven't used it a ton. Have other Dyson products I love. However, this straightener does NOT glide on hair as well I expected. Also battery seems to drain super fast.

The flexing plates provide just the right amount of flex to gather and adapt to the hair, and also provide the tension needed for styling. The intelligent heater system delivers the required heat to the plates. Intelligent heat control regulates the temperature of the plates 100 times a second to make sure they never exceed your chosen temperature. And finally, a 4-cell lithium ion battery enables enhanced styling with cord-free versatility.
The Corrale does offer the same thermal performance as corded products, but with cord-free versatility. It provides up to 30 minutes cord-free styling and is fully recharged in just 70 minutes. You can also extend your run time by attaching the magnetic 360ᵒ charging cable for use in hybrid charge mode should you need longer. Also, while in use to help prolong the battery life, we'd recommend placing the straightener back on the dock, between styling sections of your hair.

Damages hair!

I got they Dyson Hair straightener as a gift form my Fiancé for the holidays. This product pulls on your dry hair while you are straightening. I have tried it within weeks to see if maybe I am using the product incorrectly. I have finally thrown in the towel and decided to return the product.

With regard to it pulling or catching your hair, we would recommend making sure parting your hair in 3 sections and ensuring your hair is fully dry before you use the Dyson Corrale™ straightener. Another tip we recommend is using some tension as the plates are flexible and applying tension will allow the hair to pass through with ease.

I love my dyson hair dryer so my husband got me this for Christmas. It works well but not better than my prior straightener and the battery dies quickly. It does heat up quickly. Overall not worth the high price tag for a cordless straightener that runs out of battery before I can finish my hair.

And for it to last less than 15 minutes after charging all night is a disappointment.
