Doesn't straighten my hair

I am staggard that other people like this product. I was bought it for Christmas and unfortunately wasn't able to use it until yesterday, when I thought I must be using it wring because its so bad. It tugs my hair all the way down and isn't hot enough to straighten it. I cannot even tell you how disappointed I am because it cost my partner so much money and was intended as a real indulgence. I can't use it, it damaged my hair, and I'm pretty sure we can't return it either. It is SUCH a waste of money I'm really upset.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Corrale™ straightener uses four key pieces of technology. The flexing plates provide just the right amount of flex to gather and adapt to the hair, and also provide the tension needed for styling. The intelligent heater system delivers the required heat to the plates. Intelligent heat control regulates the temperature of the plates 100 times a second to make sure they never exceed your chosen temperature. And finally, a 4-cell lithium ion battery enables enhanced styling with cord-free versatility.
We were sorry to hear that you felt the plates dragged on your hair in comparison to other straighteners on the market. Dyson Corrale™ features magnesium copper alloy plates which flex to gather and control your hair, to achieve a smooth, straight style. These plates also help to achieve this style with reduced reliance on heat.

Great product with Design Flaws

I have had this product replaced twice due to the slider button used to open the product falling off. Dyson claims it's not a known issue, but surely I can't be the only one experiencing this, and I've seen this come up on other sites. Such a shame as I love the product, but unfortunately its just not as reliable as other products I've owned, which are still without issue after 10+ years.

Best straightener I've ever had.

My husband bought this for me a month ago and I love it. It leaves my hair feeling full and bouncy, without that burned smell that comes along with other straighteners. The styling lasts longer than other straighteners. So far I've had no problems with the life of the battery. I'm very glad to have it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the first hair straightener I ever bought. I am absolutely useless when it come to use an iron to straighten my hair.
Well, until I tried doing it with my new Corrale!! Absolutely love it! I think it’s totally worth the price. It leave your hair soft and bouncy like you had natural wavy hair.
Totally recommend if you want to do your hair yourself without being afraid of ruing it!! I am a Dyson fan, and once again ,Dyson did not disappoint me!!! Way to go guys!!!

I wish it would last longer than 20 minutes when not plugged in. The thought was cool but it’s just not the best straightener. I have 4a hair and it does the job but if it was a higher heat and didn’t pull my hair out, it would be better.

This straightener isn’t worth the money. Worst straightener I’ve ever had. Battery barely last to complete my hair. Don’t waste your money on this.

Very disappointed

I got this as a Christmas gift from my sister. I'm very disappointed I fully charge it and only stays charged for less than 2 minutes I have to go over my hair multiple times to get it straightened my hair to the point where I get frustrated I give up. The highest temp is 210. Very disappointed

The temperature is up to 410 degrees F (210 degrees C), and is adjustable up to the highest depending on your styling needs.
The Corrale's battery life is up to 40 minutes of styling, depending on the heat settings used. In-between sections, we recommend placing the machine on the charging cradle. Alternatively, the machine can be used in hybrid mode, which means it can be used while plugged up with the magnetic charging cable.

mistake

I already own the dyson hair dryer and the wand. My husband gave me this as a holiday gift and I am so disappointed. It is very heavy, it turns off on its own and it doesn't seem to close smoothly without hitting the off.
