Battery as everyone else said doesn't last long but overall, my hair is much healthier than any other iron that I used before.

I’ve had this for long enough to give a decent review. The convenience of being cord free is the only positive. I have fine thin hair and the battery does not last long at all. For the money you pay to buy this tool the battery should last a lot longer!

From full charge, you can achieve up to 30 minutes cord-free styling from the Corrale straightener. Exact run time depends on your hair type and styling habits. A full charge takes just 70 minutes. Poor battery life, breaks hair, paint flakes off

I have owned the Corrale flat iron since December 2021 but only used it about a dozen times. The paint began to flake off of the unit (see attached picture).
I noticed the paint had started to bubble with paint flaking into my eye last time I used this. In the photo you can see that a layer has peeled off of the iron (zoom in), and the paint chips are shown in the bag. This was the last straw on a product I already deeply disliked.
I have long, thick, curly hair but it straightens relatively easily. I have the Dyson hair dryer and it is amazing and one of the best investments I’ve made. I was very excited when I got the Corrale as a gift from my husband, however, it did not meet my expectations.
My initial impression was the iron is too heavy and unwieldy, making it hard to maneuver. It doesn’t straighten or smooth my hair in one pass, even at the highest heat setting. The battery life is awful, and I cannot get through styling my whole head on one charge, it dies after about 25 minutes. It doesn’t charge while in use but plugged in, so it’s essentially useless to me since I have to wait for it to recharge to finish styling. What a waste of time! It leaves ugly creases and lines in my hair, and I don’t love the shape of the curls it creates. Lastly, I noticed the iron pulls and snaps my hair, it does not run smoothly through my hair. I used it about a dozen times to give it a fair try and I am not a novice with creating different styles with a flat iron, but I noticed hair breakage at my hairline that’s never occurred with other irons.
I own a Dyson hair dryer and a vacuum. I like Dyson a lot, but the Corrale is an awful product and a huge disappointment; it’s not just one issue, it is many. I wish I had returned it, but as I said, it was a gift and I wanted to give it a try. In my opinion this product needs to be redesigned and improved. PASS.

Started out great

For the first year and a half, it worked exactly as promised and I would have given it a 5 star rating. Unfortunately after about a year and a half, the battery life started draining. Again, expected for it to have little decrease in performance. Sadly a little after 2 years of use about 2-3 times a week, the battery is completely shot and will no longer hold a charge for longer than 3 min. This is very unfortunate considering how expensive the product is compared to others. I did reach out to customer service but there is no battery that can be purchased and swapped out by the consumer. I believe that is a serious design flaw in a hair product that is already so expensive. Sadly it would have cost me more to ship it to a repair facility and get the battery replaced than to buy a less expensive one that I have bought in the past that lasted well past 6 years before needing replaced. When the product worked it was superior, but it does not have the longevity it should for the cost of the product.

Your Dyson Corrale™ straightener will provide up to 30 minutes of cord-free styling. However this will vary depending on heat setting and how the product is used. Your Dyson Corrale fast charges during the first 40 minutes of being plugged in (up to ~95% of battery charge). For the remainder of the 30 minutes of charging the process slows to protect the battery from being over charged. Over time, and usage, the overall battery life can degrade, but it wouldn't be significant enough to make too much of a difference in your daily usage.

Hair Straightener

I absolutely love Dyson. I have the vacuum, blow dryer and hair straightener. I always recommend and am willing to pay but disappointed this go around. My Dyson blow dryer is amazing but stops working
and kicks back up once I jiggle the cord around. My hair straightener doesn’t worked plugged in after the charge dies. I have to wait to use it even plugged in. Not good when you are rushing to work. I’m not sure now to buy the hair wrap or not. This feature needs work. Products are great , but shouldn’t struggle using them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love it

This was a birthday purchase. My first experience with Dyson was with the supersonic dryer which I love and then the Airwrap which I’m still learning the best uses for my hair,Since I couldn’t get my hair smooth as I like with the Airwrap I decided to give the Córrale a try and didn’t disappoint actually I can tell the difference between the Córrale straightener and the competitor. The Córrale leaves my hair smooth and doesn’t burn it. Also I can use the medium setting and get great results with lasting curls and no frizz. While the tool is very expensive I believe is a great investment since the health of my hair is now better. I highlighted coarse hair lots of it, pass shoulder length, usually takes me an hour to style. The córrale has shorten that process to 30 minutes. So far I’m happy with my purchase and I recommend the Córrale since has given me great results and shorten the styling time.

At first I thought it was really heavy after 1-2 uses that passed. It’s so great. Heats up quickly. Really love it. Could just use a longer charge.

I'll start off with the good. -- I love Dyson products. I have fans, the blow dryer and the air wrap. While all pricey, I think they are all worth it. Well made, long-lasting. The hair products are all gentle on your hair, especially someone like me who heavily abuses my hair. The Corrale straightener definitely doesn't flatten your hair to your head like other flat irons do, and it doesn't cause the type of damage other flat irons/straighteners do. Those are two positive things.
Now, unfortunately, I don't think this is worth the money. First of all, it's VERY heavy. If you have long hair, thick hair, or both, your hands and wrists are going to need a break after using it. Second of all, the battery life - this is ridiculous! It has to be completely charged to use it (it wont work if you're trying to use it and charge it when its on low to no battery.) It takes a little over an hour to fully charge it (while its not in use and off), and once you start using it and its not on the charger, the battery dies after about 15 minutes worth of use. It's pretty silly. If I plan on using it, I just keep it on the charger the whole time but the battery still dies faster than it can stay charged.
Overall, I'm very disappointed in this product. Save your money.
