Love that fact that it is cordless and has a rechargeable stand. It's a beautiful, and heats up in a flash. This product was free in exchange for my honest review from Influenster and Dyson!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing! Something I would have never paid retail for. But after using it I could see that the sticker price fit. Looks heavy. It’s not. It’s wireless! It has only 3 setting but they reach desired heat level almost instantaneously. Charges fast and gets perfectly straight hair with one pass. This bad boy reaches the roots and the flex plates really help smooth as the hot iron passes. Only down side is the charge doesn’t last long and halfway the battery dies and turns off. You can charge plugged in too but mines wouldn’t stay on it kept dying as of being plugged in AND pressing wasn’t a thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t SOLD on this product, greatly appreciate receiving it free to test and review. BUT, the only thing that was pretty cool about it, is the fact that it’s completely cordless. For the price, I wouldn’t recommend it. The pros about this hair straightener are: it’s cordless, you’re able to travel with it (not in Japan), and the buttons are located on the inside of the device. Cons; the higher the heat, the faster it loses charge. Normally you’re able to get about 30 minutes of cordless charge, but if you have it on the highest setting which is 425 degrees, you’re only able to have 10/20 minutes before it makes the signal to charge. It is a pretty heavy and bulky tool, so if you have smaller hands (not my case) you’re gonna have trouble holding the corrale for long periods of time.

Your Dyson Corrale™ straightener will provide up to 30 minutes of cord-free styling. However this will vary depending on heat setting and how the product is used. Your Dyson Corrale fast charges during the first 40 minutes of being plugged in (up to ~95% of battery charge). For the remainder of the 30 minutes of charging the process slows to protect the battery from being over charged. It is true that the higher heat being used, the faster the battery will discharge. You can use the machine in Hybrid charge mode, with the charger cable connected to the Corrale while in use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the worst hair straightener I've ever purchased. Don't waste your time or money. I didn't even get through half of my hair before the battery died. The hair straightener is as heavy as a bowling ball. Garbage
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your Dyson Corrale™ straightener will provide up to 30 minutes of cord-free styling. However this will vary depending on heat setting and how the product is used. Your Dyson Corrale fast charges during the first 40 minutes of being plugged in (up to ~95% of battery charge). For the remainder of the 30 minutes of charging the process slows to protect the battery from being over charged. The greatest draw on the charge of the battery is during the heating up period; taking the heater plates from ambient/room temperature up to 210°C/410°F. Therefore, the largest drop in battery charge would be expected in the first few minutes of each use.

I am glad I was able to return it

I bought this straighter used it a couple of times and was not happy. This is an expensive straightener and it should work for all types of hair. I have a thick and soft hair and I bought this so my hair would last straighten for a change. My hair should have not had any issues . I like Dyson as a company maybe for other electronics. I did enjoy the blow dryer and hate I cant use the two items together.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
