It’s a metal frame

I’m a little annoyed by the squeaky sounds but it was easy to put together. I did question why the mattress suggested no more than a 4” gap in the frame and this frame has gaps between bars of 6”
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sturdy

The foundation is sturdy and makes no noise when moving around on it, but it was a bit of a hassle to assemble. It might have been easier with more than one person, but there was still one piece that was simply not willing to snap into place without being hit repeatedly with a hammer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ghostbed all in one foundation

Was very hard to put the cross bars in. Had to eventually use a tap with a hammer. First use it had a few creaks until it all settled.
Now that it is all together with bedding on it does look great.
All in all we are very happy with our purchase
