Box spring

After looking for a box spring for my new mattress I decided to just go with the one ghost bed had. It was easy to put together ( with the help of my 9 year old) in about an hour. It is quite and provides nice height.

After looking at several different “mattress in a box” online, I decided on Ghostbed and I couldn’t be happier. I ordered a king size mattress and boxspring along with 2 Ghostbed pillows and the mattress protector. They all arrived within 4 days of me placing my order. The king size mattress and boxspring are heavy (they are king size after all) so you will probably need 2 people to carry them and unbox them. The boxspring is super easy to set up, just make sure you have a power screwdriver before you start and it will only take about 30 min to complete. The mattress is as simple as taking it out of the box and carefully cutting the wrapping off of it and letting it expand. It only took about 15 min. for the mattress to finish expanding and I placed the mattress protector on it. I sleep on it that night and it felt great, maybe a little firmer than I was used to, but still great. Over the next few nights it started to feel even better and not as firm as the first night. I would say after my 30 nights of sleeping on it I would rank it a 6.5 on firmness on a 1-10 scale. I can tell a big difference in my old spring mattress vs. Ghostbed, in that the Ghostbed seems to keep my neck and my body supported much better the my old spring mattress. The pillows are also very comfortable and seem to go well with the mattress. I would highly recommend Ghostbed to any of my friends and family who were having trouble sleeping due to their current mattress and with the 101 night trial what do you have to lose.

Given wrong information about spacing between slats

I have an email from Ghostbed telling me the spacing between the slats is 3 inches. Some of the mattresses I was considering require 3 inch spacing or less between slats on the foundation for the warranty to be in effect. The actual spacing is 3.5 inches on the Ghostbed foundation. If the Ghostbed mattress does not work out and I return it, I will be stuck with an unreturnable foundation that will not meet requirements for the other mattress I would want because the company gave me the wrong information when I specifically asked this question.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice. Mattress eliminated my back pain. Feels a little firm at first but then softens up after a few minutes and feels great. We liked this mattress so much we bought more. We now have three

Piece of wood was broken on the support. Also one of the slats ripped off of the cloth. Recommend 2 people to put it together. It did go together with ease.
