I am very disappointed at the battery life. Despite keeping the watch in energy saver mode with WIFI off, I barely get 16-17 hrs. My trade in, Watch4 Classic gave me 36 to 48 hours with the same energy savings. Had I've known, I would have kept my Watch 4 Classic
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Big upgrade from Galaxy Watch 4

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had previously owned the Galaxy Watch 4 and found a lot of the functionality to be too cumbersome and hidden to use. Switching to the Watch 7, I've been very happy with how much easier it is to navigate and leverage the functionality. The gesture controls are great and pair well with my S23. The increase in performance is also significant. While I'm still playing around with the settings, it's very clear that a lot of thought has gone into giving the user the tools they need to customize the watch into something that works well for them.

Glad I upgraded from Watch 6!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new watch for about a week now. I decided to upgrade from the Watch 6 because of the great trade in deals. I've been very pleased so far!
First off, the navigation through the device is much quicker! The sleep recording seems to be much more accurate and has the added bonus of sleep apnea detection.
The watch battery isn't lasting me though the day yet, I know it says it's training, but I'm a little disappointed in that, which seems worse than the watch 6. Also, it's still not detecting the start of activity such as lawn mowing, which I'd think should show up as moderate walking.
I love the new green color which looks more like a polished dark silver. I'm also looking forward to trying out some of the new Galaxy AI features!
