Hey Nancy, thank you for finding the time to share your sentiments with us about your Samsung Galaxy Watch7. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to provide the best products with superior functionality on the market to our customers. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer Samsung Care+ which can be added to eligible devices. It's similar to extended warranty and an insurance package combined that provides protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It would cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ offers you the ultimate peace of mind when added to your eligible devices. Our partners at UbreakIfix are also standing by to assist you with any repair needs you may have. Various factors may be impacting your Galaxy Watch7 battery, causing it to drain quickly. A few examples may include background app activity, always-on display, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi usage. Your Galaxy Watch7 can last for several days before needing to be recharged, depending on your settings and how you use your device. If you're experiencing less than expected battery life, please take a moment to review, "Reduced battery life on your Samsung smart watch" to learn what factors may be impacting your device. Let us know if you would like any further assistance after reviewing the resources shared by reaching out to Samsung Support. Thanks for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra

This watch is right over a year old and now with the current update it will only last a day on a full charge. My last watch lasted 2 1/2 years. I've always had a Samsung watch and phone but now neither stay charged.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery and Feature Drain

Very disappointed. The battery is still bad. I have to charge twice a day even though I have power saving turned on and all the perks turned off. Also, it won't turn on sleep score or any of the sleep tracking factors. Rebooted, reset, deleted data, tried it all and still does not work. Really regretting this purchase.

terrible battery performance
on August 3, 2024

Initially, the battery lasted about 48 hours, I was very happy, but now a week later it will not make it thru a single day. Google Assistant disabled, Always On Display turned off, doesn't make any difference. Terrible experience, and wish I hadn't traded-in my Watch4.

Always separates itself from phone. It's always a battle to keep connected. After 6 months I have come to the conclusion that I've gone back to a regular wristband watch and don't use Sumsucks anymore.

Hello JT,
Thank you for taking the opportunity to share your sentiments with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Watch7. Samsung offers a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If your watch will not pair to a phone, or if it randomly disconnects, restart your watch. You should also make sure the Galaxy wearable app is up to date, but it may be necessary to reset the app and unpair your watch. Please take a moment to review, "Samsung smart watch will not connect to a phone" to help resolve what you've described to be experiencing with your Galaxy Watch7. Let us know afterward if you have any questions or if you would like any further assistance. Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer.

Cool watch with tons of cool features, but the battery is horrible. I've had a galaxy gear s2, an s3 frontier, and a watch 5, and ALL the older batteries outperformed the watch 7 battery duration.

Hey there! We really appreciate your honest feedback. Your input is crucial as we strive to make improvements. We noticed that you contacted us about the Watch7. The Watch7 offers improved Heart Rate Tracking with Galaxy AI, which filters out your body's movements for a more accurate reading, allowing you to get the most out of your workouts. If your watch's battery is draining quickly, we recommend making sure that your watch is up to date with the latest available software. Prior to starting the update process, ensure that your watch has a good battery charge; you may not be able to update without at least a 30% charge. To update the software on your connected phone, go to and open the Galaxy Wearable app. Tap Watch settings, then tap Watch software update. If your watch displays a Home tab, swipe to and tap Watch software update or Band software update, and then tap Download and install. If this continues to be your experience, please reach out to us at Samsung Support so that we can further investigate what could be causing this. -Kelvin
