[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is convenient to quickly check messages when I can't use my phone. They keyboard is bigger so it is easier to type. I get a lot of compliments on the watch. It looks really nice with the white band. The battery lasts really long, I can go days without charging it.

Battery issues. Needs to be recharged morning and night if I want to record my pulse rate round the clock. Also, if you are doing something like pushing a stroller, a lawn mower, a grocery cart etc. it is not recording your steps. Your arms have to swing for it to count your steps. If you can get it around your ankle you get a much more accurate step count for your day. The vinyl band it shipped with kicked off my psoriasis: bought a leather band at a jewelers. Has several nifty apps but the battery drain is super annoying.

For example, certain apps can increase battery consumption. Check out the link attached for options to help enhance your watch's battery life. Your Samsung smartwatch automatically tracks the number of steps you've taken while wearing it. Steps are not counted when there is no hand movement in the exercise. For example, steps may not be recorded when pushing a lawn mower or cart because your hands are not moving. The watch is intended to calculate real step counts while walking. The step count may not increase immediately when walking or exercising due to the step count algorithm. When the algorithm detects 10 continuous steps, the algorithm starts to count your steps taken and updates the step count. We hate to see that you've experienced challenges with your watch band. More memory and ui tweeks makes the watch much easier, faster and a joy to use. Limiting color options on the 40 and 44 mm but still the best galaxy watch ever made.

After having my watch for over a month, I just found out that I can't charge it on the back of my phone. I used to do that with my watch 6. Although I was excited about getting the latest watch, I now regret it. Being able to charge my watch on the back of my phone was really convenient. Now I'm kinda regretting buying the newest watch. I guess I should've researched that.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch7 have a new rear sensor design to improve sensor accuracy over previous models. As a result, it is possible to assess health-related data points that were not previously supported as well as take more reliable measurements during prolonged or specialized exercises. However, the new sensor design required changing the shape of the back glass. The alteration increased the distance between the internal wireless charging coil of your Watch and the wireless charger, so the Wireless power-sharing feature available on the previous model is no longer supported.
