Hey Matsen! Your outreach is very much appreciated. Our customers' feedback is greatly important as we continue to make improvements all around. We see that you reached out to review the Galaxy Watch7. The new Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra expand the power of Galaxy AI to more people through wearables designed to provide end-to-end wellness experiences for everyone. To enjoy these features, a durable battery is needed. There are several reasons why your Galaxy Watch may be experiencing battery drain or have decreased battery life. For example, certain apps can increase battery consumption. We recommend that you check out the link attached for options that should help optimize your watch's battery life. If this persists after doing so, please reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

Keeps disconnecting, I sent watch 7 back because every time I got a blink camera notification with the picture the watch would disconnect from phone, I just received my second watch and it still does it, so there's Def a Samsung bug, I tried connecting it to another phone and it still did it so it's definitely a Samsung issue, and support hasn't been any help

Poor Health monitoring
on October 20, 2024

The health app is a joke. 1. You can set the time for the activity but not the intensity; there is not a chart that takes your biometrics and correlates the calories burned. 2. The notification for inactivy can't be changed, it is set at 50min, that is a long time not to get up and move. 3. The calorie calculator does not sync with most apps and does not calculate macronutrients like other apps; If you have an app that tracks your macronutrient goals for the DV (say how much B12 you got that day and how much you need by the end of the day), recipes and familiar foods (for quick entry), you will not get this information. Inversely, other nutrition apps that need the activity levels to calculate your nutritional needs are not allowed to import your activity from the galaxy watch.

Thanks for reaching out to share your thoughts on the Galaxy Watch7. We always look forward to hearing from our customers. Whether you're using a phone, tablet, smart watch, or earbuds, all Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. Check out the link attached tips to help keep your devices at their normal operating temperature. Samsung offers a 12-month limited warranty for manufacturer defects. We also provide the option to add additional coverage with Samsung Care+ on eligible devices, which offers extended protection and additional support. We've also added a link for options to help optimize your watch's battery life. If this persists, please reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

It's worse than I expected it to be

Was rold I can download Pandora and map my walk.
Can't. Sure map my walk connects to samsung help but you can't see a map of where you are like when you're using the app. And apparently you can download pandora through samsung internet on your watch. Well I can't get samsung internet on ky watch either.
And today had 100% charge at 8 am. Dead at 6 pm with battery save mode on and blue tooth off. Also it's a c port charger that doesn't come with a block! Also fits my wrist uncomfortably and still no square design. 100% dissatisfied.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the second galaxy 7 watch I've had in 2 weeks... the battery life sucks... turned off stuff and it still doesn't last thru the day... usually about 11am it gets hot and then loses 50% battery life... doesn't track all my steps, definitely don't like this watch.. features are good, battery sucks.. I'm taking it back for the third time and want another watch not this kind... would not recommend...

Thank you for sharing your feedback about the Galaxy Watch 7. We're hate to hear that your experience with battery life and step tracking did not meet your expectations. The new 3nm processor enhances your daily routine, allowing you to quickly switch from checking the weather to tracking your workouts. Additionally, it optimizes battery life for long-lasting power, ensuring that the Galaxy Watch 7 keeps pace with your activities. The Galaxy Watch 7 is designed to provide a variety of features that support a connected lifestyle, so it's disappointing when those features do not perform as expected. We recommend ensuring that your watch is up to date with the latest software version available. If your watch is paired with a Samsung phone you can use Samsung Members to perform a diagnostic on your watch battery. If it passes the test, you'll know the battery is in good condition. Check out the link attached for additional options to help optimize your watch's battery life. We've also included a link for options to help troubleshoot your step tracking on your watch. If any of this persists, please be sure to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

Not for fall protection.

I was after fall protection. I discovered you need to push the stem 5 times to call for help. Not what I wanted. What if you are unconscious. I returned. It was to complicated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
Response from Samsung USBy Social CommerceNovember 20, 2024
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us, Linda. We really appreciate your feedback on the Galaxy Watch7. The Watch7 features a hard fall detection function that will send out an SOS if it detects a serious fall, notifying your emergency contacts immediately if you need assistance. However, the fall detection feature is not enabled by default, so you must turn it on manually using the Galaxy Wearable app while ensuring your watch is connected. To enable it, open the app, tap on "Watch settings," select "Safety and emergency," and toggle the switch next to "Hard fall detection." If you don’t have any emergency contacts added, you’ll need to do that for the feature to work properly. You can also customize what happens when a fall is detected by selecting "Hard fall detection" in the settings, including the option to share your location with emergency contacts and make an emergency call if needed. If you have any further concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin
