Cuisinart makes the longest lasting coffee makers! The carafe is larger than I expected, but other than that, it is a win. Out last coffee maker lasted 8 years.

Temperature wise, this is some of the hottest freshly brewed coffee I ever had. My digital thermometer shows 168 degrees after brewing! You can adjust the flavor, you can adjust the hot plate temperature, and you can turn off the beeper. You can also adjust the auto cut off from 1 minute to 4 hours. Very easy to use.

I am used to using the Cuisinart Extreme coffee maker. The 14 cup maker is very effective with easy to use controls. The only issue I have with the coffee maker is that you have to pour coffee slowly to avoid some spilling.

Great coffee maker all around. The one thing I don't like is that the carafe lid snaps off and on, and I feel like that's going to wear to the point that it won't fit snugly any more. I haven't bought a new coffee maker in a very long time, so maybe that's how they're all made these days. I just feel like there could be a better design. Other than that, I'm pleased with the machine.

Have been using it daily and I love how the coffee is very hot and strong and I can control everything easily. I have been drinking coffee everyday for decades and this is probably the best coffeemaker I've ever owned. It's very noticeably better than the cheaper one I just replaced. Very happy.

We have been through a few different coffee makers and brands in the last 5 years. By far the best and easiest coffee maker is this Cuisinart. It’s nice when you don’t have to worry if the coffee will be in the pot or over flowing. Peace of mind with great quality coffee is the best.

Bright Lights

Excellent coffee maker. Great controls on BOLD and temp of carafe. However the BRIGHT lights that stay on all night are like a 'night light' in my kitchen which is connected to the master bedroom here. Either add controls for brightness to dim them down, way down or use smaller lights. No one needs those bright lights on a coffee maker.
