This is my second 14 cup programmable, coffee maker. And the only reason I replaced it the glass carafe cracked when cleaning it. it still worked fine. I just wanted a new shiny one and the broken craft was a good excuse to get one. I love the look. I love how fast they bruised the coffee. I i’ll buy one again when the time comes.

This coffee maker has great reviews for a reason. The machine pours hot water over a wide area on the coffee powder which is great. The 1-4 cups feature is also very useful when you want make coffee for less than 4 people.

I love the coffee maker. Easy to set up. Easy to program. What I don't like is the lid on the glass carafe..The lid can be difficulty to remove and replace. I do love the coffee maker. I do hope they can come up with a better design for the lid...
Cheers to the coffee lovers.

We had a bottom line coffee maker we got for cheap. After some use and bitter tasting coffee, I decided look up some better brands and mostly all reviews pointed to the Cuisinart DCC-3200 14 cup coffee maker. I ordered one and brewed a pot to do some taste testing. I could tell it right away it brought out the flavor of the coffee and the charcoal filter gave it a great taste. I am so glad that I bought this and love the easy operation. If your looking for a great coffee maker to replace your old bottom line one. This is it, you will not be disappointed. I'll make a cup for you!

Ours started acting up after a year and some months- quitting mid-brew, lights going dim then bright then off. Sometimes restarting the brew worked, sometimes not. Fortunately the machines have a 3 year warranty that wasn't too hard to make a claim on. (but save the purchase date and location!) However, the warranty on the new machine was only 3 years MINUS the time the old machine lasted. Not very reassuring.
Day-to day the most annoying thing is the carafe. It has a thick lip that prevents pouring the last bit of coffee. When you wash it, water seeps up under the inner and outer rim, so when you set it to dry, whether you leave it rightside up or upside down, some coffee or water or both will drip down the sides.
After we run out of warranty replacements we'll be getting something else.
