Coffee is weak and barely warm.

This coffee maker has two big problems: The coffee that it brews is very weak (I have it set on Bold and am using my usual coffee:water ratio), and secondly the coffee is not hot, even immediately after brewing. Could this be a lemon? Should I return it to the seller or will Cuisinart replace it directly?

My wife and I have only used the Quisinart coffee makers for many years. They are super reliable and make a superb pot of coffee. You can find cheaper machines, but you will not find a better brewer that you will have for years to come and deliver a great pot each time you use it.

Cuisinart makes a SUPERIOR 14 cup coffee maker. It brews the coffee to peak, rich flavor. The brewing temperature is good and hot, but not scalding. I use the program feature, so that my coffee will start brewing at a certain time each morning, and it works perfectly. I appreciate that you can also program the burner a certain temperature, and that the coffee maker will shut off after a certain length of time. I would recommend this coffee maker.
