This the 2nd one I have owned. It makes great coffee, but it is nearly impossible to pour a cup without coffee dribbling on the counter.

After some research , the 14 cup coffeemaker had some nice features, including a bold setting. The carafe is an upgrade as well, with a better handle and top that securely snaps into place.

We really like Cuisinart coffee makers! The only problem with not getting to love them, they don't last! It's either the coating coming off the warmer plate or the bottom leaking! Always in the past, we've been buying cuisinart for yrs and yrs because they are the only ones that give the option of choosing 4 hrs for keeping the coffee warm, the leaking would come from the back of the machine and all at once letting you wake up with a mess all over your counter. Less than 2 yrs, this last one lasted but I guess because we have it sitting up on a rolling tray type holder, the water stayed trapped underneath. So obviously the coffee pot was way low on coffee! So the clock started clicking on how long it will last, until this one starts leaking, we love it
