I was in the market for a new coffee maker and wanted something simple but with a timer option. After reading reviews I decided on this Cuisinart. I’m very happy with it. It’s a larger capacity than I need but its footprint is actually smaller than my previous mechine. I got the black stainless color and it’s gorgeous. The coffee comes out great and I like the the “bold” option for a richer cup of coffee. The timer works great so when I get up in the morning my coffee is waiting for me. And best of all, it keeps the coffee hot. That was one of the selling points. It has an option of how hot you want to keep the coffee so I have it at the highest setting and it does a great job of getting me a hot cuppa. I read some review complaining about the filling area being too small. It is rather small but I have no problems filling it at all. I do fill it from the side rather than head-on so I think that makes a difference. As others have mentioned the band around the glass carafe does allow water under it so I need to dry it well by shaking the carafe a bit to get the water out of that spot. Honestly, it’s not a great design and would be better without the band but it’s not enough of a problem that I need to deduct any stars. Overall, I love this coffee maker and would buy another one as long as this lasts a reasonable amount of time.

Awesome !! Coffee Maker easy to use, filter system is great. Love it being a 14 cup maker. Really great tasting coffee. Love the use of the reusable filter but love using the paper filter. Makes great coffee.

Love the features of the machine from the indicator to clean scale build up as a function of the self clean button to the simple but genius design of the lid. It’s great that it comes with the reusable basket filter and a charcoal water filter. Makes very good coffee and allows for “bold” brewing with the touch or a button, and if you only want to brew a little bit coffee there’s a feature for just making a 1-4 cup pot. There’s a lot to love about this coffee maker. No notes.
