This coffee maker makes the best coffee I have ever had at home. The mesh filter works very well, leaving no grounds behind in the coffee. The options provided are for 1-4 cups, bold and the ability to set one of the three temperature options for holding the coffee in the pot over several hours without making it bitter.
The only issue for me is, as with other reviewers, the lid on the coffee pot is oddly fabricated so that when pouring the coffee, you must practically turn the pot upside down to get the last bit out. Nonetheless, the smooth, rich, robust flavor produced by the pot, (using the same coffee we have used for years), is worth the slight inconvenience of a wonky lid.

I'm disappointed in the coffeemaker as when you pour it goes all over the counter. Even if you go slow it drips down the edge of the carafe.

Brews an awesome pot of coffee! I use less coffee and get a stronger cup with the Bold setting. I’d give 5 stars except that occasionally if the basket and filter aren’t firmly in place I’ve had some minor overflow from the filter.

This is my third Cuisinart programmable coffeemaker over more than several decades. My first purchase was after reading its top rating in Consumer Reports. My latest 14-cup version is an improvement in style and function. The sleeker appearance comes with more settings for bolder coffee or fewer cup servings. I have used other pod-type coffee machines. I liked them too as long as I was able to use non-proprietary, reusable pods like the earlier versions. However, the Cuisinart is more versatile and friendly in quantity and strength at a more compact size. Lastly, I don't have to be concerned such as when other manufacturers install DRM chips to control what future coffee source I purchase (i.e. pods) at their set and inevitably higher price.

I replaced my 12 cup Cuisinart with the 14 cup. I have enjoyed having extra 2 cups to share with my husband. This has an easy read side view of water volume. And it has worked great. As always I’m very happy with the product.

Although this unit is our 3rd DC3200, we also had a DC2200 back in the day. As they all give me a satisfying cup of coffee in the morning, hot, tasty and ready when I waken, this one seems to start a little slower than the rest. That may be due to the heating element or something, but it doesn't hurt the process in the least. I'm just aware of the time is all.

Coffee maker works well. The carafe has a design problem and leaks whatever fluid, water/coffee, every time you pour anything out of it. Called Cuisinart and was told that because it has been less than 30 days, I would have to ship it back to the place I bought it (Amazon) instead of sending another carafe that they know does not leak.
