I bought this coffee maker to replace one. That one didn’t have replacement carafes, only generic were available and they haven’t been satisfactory in the past. This brand offers the replacement carafes if one breaks. The coffee maker is good, although I would like an option for a hotter water temperature. Easy to set up, use and clean.

Always had the 12 cup model. Area for water fill was too small and the water fill marks were difficult to see due to being inside the reservoir.
This model fixes that. Water fill indicator on the side is very easy to see and fill area for water is wide.

Really nice coffeemaker, brews a nice cup! I have had a Cuisinart before and had a good experience, so I bought another one when my old one started malfunctioning. Love the "umber" color, nice change from stainless steel, since everything seems to be ss now. This coffeemaker also came in a copper color, which was pretty, too. Easy to setup and use the features. Don't know why we need a backlight on the clock constantly. It would be nice if the light was on only during use.
